Benefits to flowering a young plant?

someone told me that flowering a younger plant (2 weeks) will produce tighter denser buds...is this true? I've been waiting for my plants to get rather large (1 month +) before budding. Is this a mistake? Also, I had pretty sparse (not dense) buds with my last grow, but I attributed it to high temps, not the age that I started budding them out at..... Was I wrong?
Thanks in advance!

i've never heard that or seen any evidence of it besides your plant will probably just make 1 main cola cuz its so small. Did you wait for sure till your last plant was done? you should of seen a big rush of flowering growth the last 2 weeks as that is when the buds add most of their mass(density)

Noo size doesnt no matter for bud density many other factors come into play but Plant size is meaningless except for seedlings require 1month of veg for full potency

Keeping temps between 72-78. If hydro water temps need to be as close to 74 as possible. Proper ventilation maters greatly if your not running Co2 as you need to refresh the co2 in the room as the plants use it. Co2 is perhaps the biggest cause for bud density. if you can afford a co2 setup keeping it at the optimal levels you will have the most dense bud

Also topping, super cropping, Low stress training. are all methods used to create a bushy plant with many tops to allow for more bud sites on your plant (more pot).

You will be limited by the amount of light in your room. A good to great grow will yield 1+ gram per watt of HID lighting

Ok well ill try to stay on topics with the whole benefits aspect.

1) Small plant will finish budding before a big 5footer, simply because theirs less bud to develop / no lower popcorn bud to wait for.
2) It may seem denser on a small plant simply because your left with hopefully one fat cola instead of trimming more medium side nugs and such.
3) When it comes down to Sog, well of course a nice even row of colas with no side branching is sexii'ness. && fun to look @/ Trim.

flowering after just 2 weeks of veg will have no effect on the bud density , so the short answer to that is NO

the density of the bud is mainly down to strain/pheno and also light intensity
veg for only 2 weeks will result in a smaller more compact plant with less branches etc etc, which will obviously finish sooner that's an advantage if you want to produce bud as quick as possible

if all the strains/phenos you have been growing result in airy buds, it is likely light intensity is the problem
