question about those sooper troopers

WalMart doesnt sell them, at least not in the South East. I got the ones I used to use at Sportsman's Paradise. They work OK, but they're REALLY thin and need to be put up with spray adhesive. At least on walls. I changed over to Panda film, then changed over to Behr Ultra White matte latex paint. It's as bright a white as you can get, and was every bit as good as the panda film. More permanent, too.

mine works decent. they sell them at every walmart on the western states side. lays flat on the walls too without adhesive spray. just good ol duct tape (white). Now where my walls have ridges, thats where the waves come in effect

Nothing you will need to grow is illegal except for the seeds... think of how many people buy these same items online or ebay and actually use them to grow vegetables. There is no way they could keep track of everything and everyone. But like they said to be extra careful use pre paid cards, get the items shipped to friends house or family members. The reason its not good to buy online is because records are kept and if they hear you are growing they can look into and try to find circumstantial evidence. Just be careful, use your brain, and DONT TELL A SOUL!!!

Is Mylar more elective than the flat paint? If so, is the difference between the two negligible? Like standard deviation negligible, or what? Is Mylar worthit, or should I invest in paint?

yeah...the matte paint...I really should stop thinking so hard about things, and remember to just keep it simple...

One more thing. It's smart to be cautious, but not to the point of paranoia. But that's just my opinion. I just find it hard to enjoy something if I check on every creak in the house. It's like sleeping with a married woman in her husbands bed. I know. lol Happy growing

mylar is better than white paint but on ever so slightly. but, a little more reflective is just that, a little more.
but he shows all sorts of materials. flatter paint (white) is actually more reflective than a gloss finish.

just have some veggies upstairs in the kitchen or something growing in an aero garden of sorts.
i have a huge green house with chili peppers (ghost, black jalapenos, etc) tomatoes and oregano of all things. as well as strawberries.
im not paranoid either. but i do pay attention to passer bys.

Prepaid card still isn't the end all. They can IP trace everything, and already a lot of sites are logging all traffic since storage is so cheap, with IP address everything. Yahoo stores everything done through IM, email, ect on a backup drive now. Microsoft is starting to. Just because you buy a microwave and some baking soda doesn't mean they can get a warrant for you making crack, just sayin'

Flat white paint I read reflects 85% light back. I just purused Jorge's Bible and he just says that either mylar or flat white work good for light reflection. It does'nt even have to be paint. I've seen seen some heavy ass paper board that was bright flat white that I've considered lining with. Do you have a hydro store with an hour of where you stay? I drive an hour and a half to get to one, but I also have pards close by to visit as well. Just another thought.

thats exactly what im using but behr ultra pure white flat, found that out on here, works great especially since i was using tinfoil at first man what a difference

So, essentially, cash is the way to go, but I will have a prepaid card on hand, just in case...the nearest grow store is about 2 hours away, and, if anything, do you think setting up a bogus email acct for such transactions that have an email associated with them would be a possible remedy for this situation? The closest store is about 2 hours away...and I've also heard horror stories of cops and such just hanging out there and taking notes...again, the paranoia, but I'd rather be paranoid and right over being comfortable and wrong...

It wouldn.t be the best idea to use your personel email or ebay account to my thinking... if an item showed up at my house with someone elses name on it and just so happens the cops were tagging it it would be a little bit harder for them to say YOU bought it i would think.

Especially if your using the same email to buy the items and to get on here and talk about it.
