idk if you know this but they GIVE kittens away free on craigslist, INFACT i just one a week ago, we named her coco and shes 4wks old. <coco will not be visiting the gators. lol

A good friend of mine in the interior went into the Fairbanks SPCA looking for a cat - the conversation went something like this.
Friend: I'd like a cat.
SPCA: What kind of cat?
Friend: I don't know, a big one.
SPCA: Do you have a mouse problem?
Friend: No, I'm a trapper & I want one for bait.
SPCA: You need to leave right now sir.
Friend: Ok, but can I have one of the dead ones.
SPCA: Leave Now !
In his defense, all the feral cats & in fact many of the strays are put down as they are not dependent on humans any longer & simply do not make good pets.
But they make damn good Fox, Lynx & wolf bait (when prepared properly).
