Hello all Jim Jim here. Just wonderng what RIU knows about woodwork? I am building a grow room soon and I haven't done any woodwork in the past 6 years.
Firstly, How does one build a frame that will be strong enough for a grow room and to support grow lights and filters etc. that isn't attached to the roof or floor of your house? So what I mean is I am renting a house so I can not make any physical changes too the house itself but would like to build a mini room within my room about 2000mm by 1500mm. Would I have to add supports to each corner like little corner triangle support feet?
Secondly, How do I join the corners of the frame as in each qall to each other, it seems every website I go to had a different opinion. Some use just a solid pole that they nail there walls too, others use a metal hinge.
Lastly, How would I go about making a cieling or roof or top etc. that would be able to support the weight of lights, filters, fans, ducting etc.
Cheers a lot guys, This thread or a thread similar could use a nice stickying too teach people.
