im still waiting for this "fatening up" that everyone says they go through in the last week...........growth has been pretty steady and not sure if they are even growing muh anymore, maybe ill measure them with a caliper and see come 3 days from now lol

HAHAHA!!! A caliper....too funny. You can do it , I have faith in you.....I'll be so worth it and you will never have to wonder "what if I waited just one more week".

I do have a week left! I can do this! I'm just ready to wrap the whole thing up and get my first of everything under my belt!

Awww....part of me doesn't want them to die They've been such a big part of my everyday here on RIU....now I'm gonna have to watch your empty closet and I don't even get to smoke any of it.
You'll have to give a real detailed smoke report for me. I have a feeling it's gonna be the best thing you've ever smoked

Thanks cat!! I can't wait to get my next grow on the way!! They have been good to me and I've learned a lot! I still have a lot more to learn from now on. My next grow is either going to be hydro or supersoil. Idk if you've read up on it but super soil sounds awesome!

Yea I think I'm gonna do it! Especially since my next set up might or might not be in a legal state. It's easier to come across that kind of stuff instead of FFOF...

super soil is great, remember you have to let it "cook" for like 2 months though.

if you plan on continuing growing for a long period of time go with a hydro setup, once it is bought and paid for the only $$ u need to spend is on nutes and PH up/down its the cheapest way to go for multiple grows but a pretty big investment right off. make sure you buy good equipment if thats the orut you want to go, a pump does not end up being cheaper if you have to buy it 3 times

theres alot of good DIY setups you can do like RDWC or even DWC, flood and drain, drip....airoponics sounds cool too there was a pretty cool thread on here of a guy who had a whole DIY system made of PVC pipe.

bottom line is there are many ways to grow, find out which works best for you and go with it, maybe try a small DWC setup along side your soil and see how you like it first, all that consists of is a 5 gal bucket, a net pot, some hydroton, a air pump and air stone. PPM/PH meter and hydro nutrients, your still looking at spending 100 bucks but if you like it you will have already bought most of the expensive stuff.

super soil is great dont get me wrong but it is not cheap

i reuse my soil, just re ammend it, people say not to but hell, outside plants grow in the same soil year after year...

True... I'm really tossing around the idea of Hydro. I was pretty Anti Hydro but we shall see.... I do plan on continuing growing. I want to set up a perpetual grow with my next set up...

Same here I'm looking to try something different after soil and hydro is what I was looking at but can't find anywhere on how to build my own setup. I'm thinking I might go DWC. They say water is better but soil taste better so I don't know what I'm going to do but I have a few more months to decide lol

im sure you could setup something similar on a smaller scale, obviously you dont need a pound every 3 weeks....or maybe you do who knows.

definately don't need that much it would be nice but don't need it I'm not a dealer or anything so just enough for me and my girl so I don't have to buy anymore it's getting too expensive

yeah same exact reason i got into growing, sick of shelling out good money for crap weed. im hoping to harvest enough to last untill summer outdoor harvest comes in, then ill start the indoor setup when it gets old out. this outdoor will be my second outdoor grow, 4th actual grow.

first was outdoor last summer
second was indoor bagseed
third was indoor quality genetics.
ill be taking the tents down for the summer and wont be growing anything inside, no sense to rack up electric costs when Mr sunshine is free.

my fifth grow, next winter i will only be starting 2 strains and working them all winter with clones. its funny because as you go each grow gets better and better. im hoping this summer i pull of a pretty bumper crop. and this winter im able to setup a nice perpetual pretty quick

Thanks for all the info brother. I just want to start a small scale perpetual grow. Just enough to keep the fresh buds flowing! I will give all of this a read though. I figure I can just take this pound every week and turn it into "just enough every 3 weeks"

I'm a really light smoker. I can't see myself going through a pound in 3 months...

haha yeah same here, i will roll 1 joint and it will last me 1-2 days i go through about a gram a day on a heavy smoking day. but it adds up a gram a day is 7 a week which is a 1/4 and buying 1/8th to a time for anywhere from 25-40 bucks a pop gets expensive.
