I would think a trans plant 2 weeks brfor flowering would me a good thing to do

hey frost i fell a little behind on this journal and just got caught up. That thing is budding fast! How much you plan on your yield, about an eighth/quarter? How much longer do you have?

All right, I thought about this and I'm going to do it anyway. I'll probably take a beating but ... everyone keeps saying that the plant looks good when in fact it is one of the worst looking plants I have ever seen. Are you being honest? Do you really believe this is a good looking plant or are you just saying this to make him/her feel good? I realize this is a first-timer grow but wouldn't it be better to help him/her figure out why the plant looks like that so he/she can do better next time than just saying, 'looks great!' and not really meaning it. (If you do mean it then ... no comment.)

I'll do it ... your plant is unbelievably sparse and will yield very little. You also have a misconception going about the veg and flowering cycles 'cause there ain't no way 4 weeks from start to finish is accurate. All 'normal' strains (not those ridiculous auto-flower varieties) will take a minimum 6 weeks in the flowering stage alone. I'm not here to critisize you, rather, just to lay out the truth. I'd be glad to help you figure out where you went wrong for next time.

I know its not bushy or any thing I just wanted to test out my flowering room, it wasn't even veged for maybe half a month if anything then induced to flower just to see how it's gonna turn out since that's my first plant I flowered, I think I have to adjust the lights stilland this time I'm gonna keep track of the days

I'm glad to hear you understand that the plant is nothing compared to what it could have been. My concern was that, after everyone telling how great you were doing, you might actually believe that plants are supposed to look like that. I don't understand why you started the flowering cycle so early, but hey, that's your choice. Anxious to get flowering maybe? :-)

It's not necessary to keep track of the days in veg although everyone likes to know how long it's been ... just grow it to the height that you want it to be when you start flowering, however long that takes, that's what it takes. Keep in mind when deciding how high to grow it in veg that your plant(s) will almost certainly double in size during flowering and could triple with less than optimum lighting. In other words, if you grow it to 1 foot tall in veg you could end up with a 3 foot plant during the flowering cycle ... whatever you choose, can your lights adequately cover that? All that is for next time of course. Good luck.
