thanks

Yes, I will do that, but will have to wait until tomorrow as they are already into night period.
thanks DeeTee

I recommend against foliar application of ionics ... the burn potential is too great. Foliar is usually only used with slowly-transpiring plants like orchard trees. cn

Thanks guys, I know that I have read others who have used MG MC and added cal mag in the mid to later stages of flowering.. I have some blackstrap molasses to add to the next watering (just did one a couple of days ago)

I agree with Apollo.

foliar feeding is a very valid application method in Cannabis growing. esp. for deficiency caused by PH lockout, pest control and general plant maintenance.
we using a wetting agent and make sure we have our room well ventilated.

Just went through it( necrossis) earthworm castings, sea kelp and mollasses. foliar and soil. corrected the issue.

when trying to correct a defic, foliar feeding is same day results.when you treat the soil, it take 3-5 days to sort itself out.

we treat the soil to prevent this from occuring. we have limmited amount of days to gain in flowering. problems must be corrected quickly or yeild suffers.

Quick question if I can... I am reading everywhere that the mag/cal starts from bottom and goes up the plant... mine seems to be starting from the top working downward. Now I did do a soil drench with GoNats/water/fert (very diluted) mix. could this be the culprit?
thanks.. I am worried about aphids but when I pull soil from anywhere on top (to an 1 1/2" down) and inspect the soil and have not seen any aphids running around... nor on the bottom of the pot. So I am wondering if this is from the fungus gnats (combo of roots soil and too much watering ) that I have been battling for a week now.
thanks again!!!

It's very possible. I am looking at those pics for a sign of a classical deficiency and not finding one. Your plants do not look overwatered, over-or underfed, and I'm not seeing signs of lockout either. Please describe why you suspect a deficiency ... cn

Hi cannabineer... I just posted (#9) on reasons why I think I might have a deficiency. I have added some circles around the area (which seem to be getting worse) not yellowing but very very light green.

Now I am using Miricle Grow Moisture control 6 mo. and it has only been 6 1/2 weeks in the soil so I am not sure if this the nitrogen finally subsiding in the soil or a deficiency.. lock out.. I have looked all over but have not seen the same issue... now I have probably burnt the plant when doing the soil drench (but not sure since mg has terrible phos counts and the fert was 1/4'th diluted from recommended schedule)

so I realized my problem, it seems to be phosphorus deficiency do to high PH lock out. Since the soil is MG I have not flushed due to the nutrients possibly still there. I did wait 3 1/2 days to add some blackstrap molasses and some firt (phosphorus) with pH being about 6.4. I am hoping that this will help my baby... will not use MG again, while it works well if you don't mess something up like too high of PH, so I will keep an eye on her and see what happens. There could also be some iron deficiency but the tiger bloom has the chelated iron so I hope she takes up that right away.. we shall see.
lesson learned on using MG MC 6 mo.
otherwise the buds are looking nice for 20 day into flowering and the trichomes are starting to really show (just a bit frosty closest to the flowers)

How I got here in the first place.. well did a very week GoNats solution for drench and added firts. Well found out (duh, first grow... gotta learn somehow) that the pH of the GoNat solution was 8.5... OUCH.. so today (after 3 1/2 days) I did the above... please advise what I should do next
thanks!
If you say, ditch the plant.. I will um... come over and smoke all your stash!!!!! :)

ok, wanted to add a couple of pics... second is of some damage done (more than just lightening of leaves) and the first one is 'my personnel' softcore bud porn :) start off with that:bigjoint:

In that last image, i see what looks like an injury, probably from local heating (lamp) or a splash burn (nutes). Not a problem imo.

In your other pics, your overall plant health is quite good. I think you are overthinking the pH aspect. My advice is far from "ditch" it's "just keep growing ..."

images

..and on your next grow, select a soil without Timed-release Nutes. You're making it work very well this time, but there is as much potential for fighting an inappropriate but inextricable nute pack.
My other suggestion in future is to admix some powdered dolomite lime. This provides a triple treat: calcium, magnesium (in which most soils are a bit "light"), and worry-free automated pH control.

But don't let that obscure the basic message of praise: they're looking quite good, and will sail through harvest without issue. cn

Thank you cannabineer, I feel rest assured coming from you.kiss-ass I have only seen the 'frosty plants' from pics up until now.. it is quite exhilarating to see this in person :) Some one on here said that this was addictive, almost more than smoking it... though both would be the best scenario :)
Oh, love your sig.. pray to protect from followers (showed my wife that and she loved it as well)

ok fixed your pic now I can see...lol...no deficiency broski...just a little tip burn from either too much P or N but nothing to sweat over...
