i donno what this is gonna do to my state, my patient rights, all my great friends that have become like family at my center.. sounds great on paper but think about, doesnt change shit in federal laws eyes, just gives them the nudge they need to shut everything down.. iam prob gonna loose a little sleep over this tonight

This law allows all Colorado adults to LEGALY possess and cultivate marijuana. It RE-ENFORCES your patient rights. The feds aren't going to knock down every single door in Colorado. Hell, they couldn't even if they wanted to.
They want a states vs fed battle? Good ... it's about time.
Grats Colorado! Washington and Oregon are looking good too!

(7) Medical marijuana provisions unaffected. NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL BE CONSTRUED: (a) TO LIMIT ANY PRIVILEGES OR RIGHTS OF A MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENT, PRIMARY CAREGIVER, OR LICENSED ENTITY AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 14 OF THIS ARTICLE AND THE COLORADO MEDICAL MARIJUANA CODE; (b) TO PERMIT A MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTER TO DISTRIBUTE MARIJUANA TO A PERSON WHO IS NOT A MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENT; (c) TO PERMIT A MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTER TO PURCHASE MARIJUANA OR MARIJUANA PRODUCTS IN A MANNER OR FROM A SOURCE NOT AUTHORIZED UNDER THE COLORADO MEDICAL MARIJUANA CODE; (d) TO PERMIT ANY MEDICAL MARIJUANA CENTER LICENSED PURSUANT TO SECTION 14 OF THIS ARTICLE AND THE COLORADO MEDICAL MARIJUANA CODE TO OPERATE ON THE SAME PREMISES AS A RETAIL MARIJUANA STORE.; OR (e) TO DISCHARGE THE DEPARTMENT, THE COLORADO BOARD OF HEALTH, OR THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT FROM THEIR STATUTORY AND CONSTITUTIONAL DUTIES TO REGULATE MEDICAL MARIJUANA PURSUANT TO SECTION 14 OF THIS ARTICLE AND THE COLORADO MEDICAL MARIJUANA CODE.

Man, there is going to be a lot of pot growing in the next year over there.
I really didn't think this would ever happen. The only real negative I see is that the flood of weed will lead a lot of growers to seek buyers out of state, leading to more needless felonies.I thought I read somewhere that you would still have to get a license to cultivate. Do you think there will be a limit for number of growers statewide?
