i got the 200 watt one from a local store, it was like 70 bucks. The 300 watt dual spec i got on amazon.com for about 110

Hey SmokesWithHeart...I am a po man too, but for less than $100 I set up this whole system, from Walmart---I have 2- 4ft hoods w/2 t8 HO 6500k @ 3,000lumens per bulb in each...$40 bucks (12,000 lumens all together)--- then I have 3 CFL 23w 6500k @ 1600lumens..$11 bucks..so that's a total of 16,800 lumens...Then MG "Organic" soil blended w/perlite...$8 bucks (I added more perlite on bottom..already had perlite)..Then I got some heavy duty foil and covered some cardboard on 1 side...$5 bucks (shiny out..lol) they say it creates 'hot spots' but it's been working so far...The last $36 bucks I spent on light sockets, MG 8-7-6 nutes, extra wire and chains to hang all my lights...here's what I've come up with...(only 14 days old)....

sweet rik! those look like they could be some healthy plants. So today i just figured out all these white spots on the tops of my leaves in my veg cabinet are SPIDER MITESSS!!!! AHHHHH. Luckily they aren't with my dutch treat. But i'm pissed because these are the second clones i've gotten from the medical facility and the last ones I threw away because of this same problem! Whats everyones preference on getting rid of these guys? can i save my plants?

i have no idea what day i'm at, but they are finally coming back from the whole stressed out transplanting and the overwatering issue. added a couple new nutrients to my base program today also, the ancient amber and amino aide. I also have been spraying my plants with the SM-90 solution and it seems to be working on my spider mite problem on the babies, I also have been spraying the larger ones with it just cause it says it could help with root development which never hurt anything, and its a preventative from getting pests, which is also rad.

Listen to everyone that is telling you to get your lights closer, as close as possible without burning the plants. I made that mistake this grow and ended up with really tall stretchy plants. It makes even light coverage and supporting the plant a pain in the ass.

they have lately been coming back really crazy, I just pinched the tops of the lower branches today and also bent the tops to allow more yield. I think the benefox, hygrozime, and the ancient amber are extremely beneficial elements to a garden as supplemental nutrients to your base nutrient program. I couldn't imagine what my plants would look like if i were to have used this program at the start of my initial grow.
I also took another clone off of one of my dutch treats today, the SM-90 is working wonders although it has taken about 6 days of spraying on foliage constantly to eradicate the spider mites. The top leaves are looking nitrogen rich and very healthy, plant cells are starting to rebuild on lower older parts of the plant where spider mites have eaten areas of plant cells under foliage.

holy crap they are growing so fast i'm running out of room! So I bent some branches two days ago, and they are already healed! I also pinched the tops of a few branches to get some wider growth. I guess I should flower them now? Because i'm out of room in my veg cab to. I might have to take a bunch of stuff out of my room and figure out a larger space. But holy crap, I strong recommend Hygrozime, Benefox, Sensi Grow 2 part, the newest additions of Soul Synthetics Amino Aide, and Ancient Amber.
I also took another clone off of one of my dutch treats, soaked roto rooter in Thrive Alive, and stem dipped in cloning solution. I've always had really bad luck with clones, but before hand I wasn't puttin them in a humidity dome. Now i've made my own little domer. Speaking of dabs! Dab Life.

ya Its hard to get them as close as I can in the veg cab, cause my light doesn't even fit in there. Also my plants are getting to big for my flowering space, so sometimes they are as close as touching the bulbs and I wake up to move them around and the tips have been burned off...need more space! I think i'm just gonna start to flower now.

With watering I find less is more. I make sure to saturate the soil with a little runoff. Then its 3 days of drought. Then I water again.

Your gonna have to raise the celing for flower. I use large cfl's too. I hang 3 on a wall, side by side. And move the plant in close to that wall....but not quite touching the sides of the cfl's. Then I turn the plant several times a day. Making sure cfl's have penetrated all around the plant. I also hang a light over the tops.

Dude, not trying to be a jerk, but your plants are way too stretched and unhealthy, stressed out. You spent all this money on nutrients, and really that is all you have talked about. If you simply turned the lights sideways, put on reflectors or made a reflector, and kept them two to three inches from the tops of the plants, they would be bushy and stout. I don't understand why you haven't addressed the lighting issue? That is the main problem. Your plants look like crap, nute burned terribly!! If you follow the keep it simple method you will have better luck. Good soil, 25% perlite, lights in close proximity to plants, temps good and good airflow = success. Quit spending money on NUTES, that is the last thing those skinny plants need!!
