tiny yellow tipping? Nute burn?

Can any1 tell my why the very tips of leaves are yellow? Other than this they are healthy. I'm pretty sure it's not a deficiency. I use ocean forest soil( adding hydrated lime and Happy frog fruit and flower) I feed with General Organics ( Grow-vegg/ Bloom- flower ) + cal mag. Using only rainwater. My runoff Ph is 6.5 and PPM around 900. ( Dutch Passion Blueberry )

Take a pic without the HPS, you can't tell anything about yellowness under a yellow light.

Small burned tips are usually caused by slightly overdoing the nutes, or temps too high.

I still cannot see yellow tips.

Planning on taking another round of pics tonight when the lights come on. Day 21 of flower so I will update my journal. I also have a Liberty Haze(cup winner) and she doesn't have any yellow tips. She also drinks a lot more and uses more nutes. The runoff measures around 600 with the same feeding routine witch makes me suspect that the Blue Berry doesn't handle the nutes as well thus making yellow tips.

All strains have different nute requirements. So yes one might suck up way more nutes than another strain. The yellowing tips are generally no concern. When I'm dealing with a new strain I intentionally try and get the tips to yellow. That's when I think they have reached their max nute levels. I then dial it back just a notch and that's what I go with for that strains max nute level. Also I have grown blueberry before and found it to be a more difficult plant. More sensitive to nute levels and yes I found it to use less.

Blueberry is hypersensitive to nutes.

If this is the case....

How can you reduce the Blueberry's concentration of nutes but leave the Liberty Haze on a stronger mix?

I use a Wilma ebb and flow SO it's like communist horticulture - every plant is equal.

Yer fine. Dial back your nutes a tad. Plant looks great.

Well... I'm a soil grower. That's one problem you run into with ebb/flow. I've known growers who have set up a smaller system just for a touchy strain that they really wanted to keep. In the commercial grow we have lots of strains and the ones that are too sensitive are eliminated. We can't waste time to baby certain strains, but at home you have more control. If your limited to the communist growing feeding method then unfortunately you need to find strains that enjoy the same nute levels.

Yep... deffinatly the yellow tips are the beginning of nute burn. So you've found the max nutes that plant can take. Those plants look nice though so just back off the dosage a bit and they'll be fine. Happy growing!

I am a 'meat and potatoes' type of person so I want a hardy strain, that gives big yield of potent buds (and it needs to smell, around here potency is equated with pungency).

Devoting months of your life into nurturing a difficult to grow strain is not for me.
Maybe at another point in my life but certainly not now.
