Carbon filter Re-activation

Has anyone had any experience Re-activating carbon filters ?
The typical process is to wash said filter with a bit of (dish?) soap & then heat to around 200 deg F for several hours.
I might try this, but they're too long to fit in the oven.

Thoughts ?

I'd read you need to bring it a lot hotter than that (need a kiln to do it), but if that's all it takes I'm all over that.

Edit-I'm sure that would stink up your house pretty good though so you might want to try it somewhere other than your grow.

I've been playing with google trying to find someone whom has actually done it, with no luck tho.
Here's the generic re-activation process I did find.

Instructions

1) Remove the filter from the appliance and wash the filter either in the dishwasher or with warm water and a few drops of dish washing liquid. Rinse the filter well.

2) Turn on the oven to approximately 200 degrees Fahrenheit and allow the oven to preheat.

3) Place the filter in the oven on an oven pan. Close the oven door and leave the filter in the oven for about 10 minutes.

4) Remove the charcoal filter from the oven using protective oven pads and allow to cool before touching. When the filter is cool, replace the filter in the appliance.

5) Repeat approximately every two months or when the filter seems excessively dirty or is not functioning properly.

And then again I see another process that uses much higher temps.
Maybe I'll ask the bear - he's a smart guy.

I don't know about reactivating but I have "refreshed" mine with an ozone gen. I accidentally discovered it a few months ago.
I exhaust through a closet where my CF is located. Also in that closet is an ozone gen just for extra odor control.
Last year when I changed my filter I set the old one on the floor and forgot about it. Six months later I noticed it sitting there and it got me thinking...so I rotated it and shook it a few times and left it there for another 3 months or so. Then finally, I turned it on inside the closet for a few days so it could "breathe" the ozone.
Later at harvest time I needed a extra scrubber and decided to try it out. It worked like a champ, even smelled a little like ozone for the first week or so. I don't know how long it will last but it has been good for a month now. I change out my filters again next month but my old ones are going to the closet again
