I have a pump on the bottom of one side of a 45 liter (12 gallon?) rubbermaid bin
the hose goes to the top of the other side. I also have 2 air stones, is the pump overkill? do the stones move the water enough?
I fear the magnets in the turbine thing will suck up all the iron.
How would one correctly add ph down in a setup like this?
Take out 5-10L of solution, add PH down to that, and then add it back in?
If the roots are in the solution, I imagine it's a bad idea to add ph down directly to the water?
the guys point is that for security you can have a fuckin container in your backyard with plants in it, venting directly outside, and not have a care in the world, your next neighbor is miles away and no one is looking for anything there anyway
in the continental usa you shit your pants if...
I change my rez when I add back half as much water as the res size.
So for 20 gallons, when you've added back 10 gallons of water (dont add more nutes) you change the res
I figure there is good bacteria in the roots excel, combined with a zyme product would it be enough? Or should I also be brewing tea? is it worth it at that point?
it's hard to get each plant perfect, one of them will have too much nutes, another just enough, another not enough N, etc. Figuring out how to get 1 strain "dialed in" is hard enough, with 4 it's gonna be super hard.
also, you wont be vegging for the same amount of time, so youll be transfering...
I would go with everything the same strain, and when you're done with that batch then do another strain, don't do them all at the same time you'll go crazy
