Best way to transition from 18/6 to 12/12

Those things fly over my house sometimes. Once one was obviously breaking the rules and was flying right in front of my house in this valley. It was badass. That would be my dream job. Nascar driver would be second.
You should spend a little cash and do the Nascar driving experience. It's a little corny but still pretty fun. You can either ride with one of them for double the laps or drive one of the cars for half the laps. That's how it was years ago.

Pilot yes- Nascar driver- I tried that at a Rusty Wallace Nascar driving experience- car had awesome power but it was like 120 degrees plus in the drivers seat and we had full fire suits on- 20 or 30 laps and I was toast!!
Sorry for getting off topic. But it's not really gonna matter how you do it. Like Buddha said "Yes some do gradual cycle changes but unnecessary in most situations."

I'd first decide what time of day you want the dark and light cycle at. I do my dark cycle doing the day when it's warmer out. Electricity is also cheaper during off-peak hours in some areas (not me though).

Since I go from 24/0 to 12/12 I just push a button on my Titan Timer that switches from On to Auto to switch to 12/12. I don't unplug anything. Just push the button. My light's either on all day, or just from 8pm-8am, or 9pm-9am depending on Daylight Savings bullshit.

I've heard that slowly transitioning to 12/12 can cause less stretch, but I'm too lazy for that. And negative temp differential can lessen stretch too. So can LST and stuff.

Ya. That would be a blast. We're gonna do this sometime. At least my son and I.

They're super fun. I took a weekend race driving school in mid Ohio and it was with a just slightly souped up version of those carts. They did 55-60 flat out but the handling was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. You sit down so low to the ground and the G force is amazing. Only problem is no roll cage so when it goes sideways, you can get a little beaten up. That's racing though sometimes, you just need to know it up front. Hope you guys have a great time. Shifter carts are the shit though, my buddy races those and I've squeezed my big ass into his a couple times just for kicks. They're scary quick.

If they shift that would be even better. That'd be freakin awesome. I just assumed they're autos.

I've been on the mud, dirt, and jump high performance shit. We had to sign waviers for those too. It also had just rained so there were bigass mudpuddles and shit. It was fun as hell. Good thing they had rollcages though cause my buddy flipped his, :bigjoint:

The ones you'll be driving will be auto most likely. Shifter carts are the next level up and require a license because they do 90-120 mph. Sorry about the hijack op. Good luck with the flip and flower cycle.

Those might be the High Performance Carts you have to qualify for. I know they have some faster ones, just can't find it on their site right now.

I've always done 24-36 hours of complete darkness in between switch.
This is from the Jorge Cervantes Marijuana Horticulture book. P164

Cervantes basically wrote the growers bible. He's a legend. If you don't think this works take it up with him. But you can't go wrong with his methods. He grows trees outdoors that produce 10lbs each so.... He must know what he's talking about.

He wrote that in 2010
Grower science has advanced a long ways in the last 12 years due to legalization
Although he was an innovator
I would hardly call it a bible unless you mean following on blind faith

I don't know anything about Edd Rosenthal or Jorge Cervantes other than they appear to be popular, in the UK there was a book available by each of them called closet cultivator after reading that I didn't think anyone would take them seriously?

Where did he get his degree in Plant Science?

that was just a question not an argument.

Your post that Cervantes is an authority on the subject because he has published a book, is an actual "argument of authority" fallacy.
Ah college, Logic 101, man I miss those days. The most fun class I ever had. Learning how to properly argue with someone, from a Grateful Deadhead professor that was an albino that didn't wear shoes to class. He also taught me Philosophy. Good times.
