Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

I don't know that I have much to offer on your question. The bubblelicious I had was a sativa pheno, which is not typical (it's 75% indica genes; I ended up with the freak). I would have loved to cross my particular plant with Aurora and maybe get the best of the big, vigorous growth of my plant...

13 weeks and counting.. Trics still clear OMG!

Nothing personal taken... Some plants and animals cue their behavior off of length of daylight, irrespective of temperature. Some cue off temp only, some off of both. So, it doesn't necessarily have to get colder for a shorter light period to have an effect on a plant or animal. That said, I...

13 weeks and counting.. Trics still clear OMG!

Some plants are just fucked that way, I've come to believe.. I had one bubblelicious and two superskunk side by side this year - both "9-11 week" strains. The bubblelicious never really fininshed; I finally just said "fuck it" and chopped at 13 weeks flowering. It was an atypical sativa pheno...

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Thanks, bc... I appreciate the compliment. I tell ya', these journals take more work than it appears. I still have a group of jars getting their "daily burp", so I'm still losing a little weight. Don't have a scale though, for an exact measurement. Right now, I've got 14 mason jars; 12 are...

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Thanks to you both for the kind words and hanging out my grow and throwing in some good comments. Glad I was able to throw a useful comment or two up for you as well. This has been a good one -- I have no doubt this weed will last a long time. And I feel like I'll go into the next one really...

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Getting to the end here.. the oncoming summer is blowing the lid off the room temps, too, so some of this might not get all the "finish" it needs. I'm hitting 86-90 in the daytime now and the electric bill is heinous enough without trying to cool a bunch of weeds. Def need to upgrade to real...

5.0 soil ph! 10 days from harvest! huge yellow problem!!

Sorry... but those things don't matter. Not trying to be an a-hole, but plants mature when they do, basically. Check out the harvest tutorial under Harvesting == some good pics there of plants that are ready vs. not.

5.0 soil ph! 10 days from harvest! huge yellow problem!!

10 days from harvest? Closer to 10 weeks.... that plant is nowhere near ready. Can't believe all this banter and no one has pointed that out. Basic lack of N during stretch is what you're seeing.

    Scotts soil fertilizer

It's okay... a lot of cheap ferts have a large portion of their nitrogen coming from urea, which is slow release (okay) and can also burn your roots (not okay). These off-the-shelf ferts can do well - I would suggest using 1/2 of the lowest recommended dosage at first. You can still get good...

    Do you till/cultivate your soil?

No, and you don't want to. Reason is, your plants will use every last millimeter of your soil right to the top. Till it, and you're cutting the roots. And any decent potting soil won't compact to a degree where tilling is needed or helpful.

leaving flowering plants for 5 days?

Don't change the light; just water 'em up right b4 you go; they'll be fine (assuming a decent pot size, 2-gal or better)

    Help!!!!tiny yellow spots attacking me!!!!

Anthracnose fungus is another possibility, esp if upon close inspection you don't find any actual bugs (ps. fungus gnats don't feed on living leaf material, so it isn't that).

    What causes popcorn buds?

What I did last year, and will likely repeat .. is to chop the top colas, leave the lower 1/3 - 1/2 of the plant with the fluffy popcorn bud, then lower the light to it and let it ride for another 2-3 weeks. You'll be amazed how much that stuff will tighten up.

Tis the season: bubblelicious and superskunk 400W grow

Okay... Having done a little more legwork, I think the Queen's finish is being held back by too much N in the 7-9-5 I've been using. Thinking about pulling out some Tiger Bloom next feed, then trailing her off on plain water from there. Maybe put the skunks on it too...

Please Help !! Please Help !! Please Help !!

That's fungal damage of some kind. There are many fungal pests, and bacterial pests. Def not a deficiency of any kind. I just did some legwork on this cuz one of my plants picked up an anthracnose fungus that was not anywhere to be found on weed forums, but is quite common on fruit trees. Many...

    Florescent Lights

Flouros are great from seed to about 7-10 days. I find that the seedlings stay compact, firm and are less likely to stretch under a flouro. But after that, def go to the 400, IMO.
