Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

Alright. Last night (the end of week 7) the plants got cut down. The resin glands were getting milky and it was time to go. Here's some pictures from harvest. The weight is unknown.

    Barely needing water

Isn't it preferred to water MORE QUANTITY, but with LESS FREQUENCY? I'm not entirely sure, but I've seen some suggestions that way.

    Spider Mites

You can slow their activity by elevating the humidity. This will slow the plant's growth and general health, but will help to eliminate the problem. It will make the environment "uncomfortable" for the mites and they'll want to leave. Quick question - what were your temps and RH% before you...

    Periodic 24hr darkness in 12/12?

A little of both - soil-less mix (looks like normal dirt) with nutrients being fed to the plant every third day. Anyways, I only do the 24hour darkness thing when I switch over to flowering. I wouldn't recommend doing it during flowering.

    Periodic 24hr darkness in 12/12?

My local hydroshop owner recommended doing 24hours before going into flowering lighting. My two plants showed sex just after 8 days of 12/12 lighting once flipped.

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

Not a problem. Today (July 13), will be day 46 of flowering. I'll grab some pictures later. As for a build material list, this isn't the ideal solution. Remember, everytime you access the plants, it's from the top-down. VERY annoying.

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

A picture from last night. For some reason, this is the only one that wasn't blurry as all hell.

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

I figured I'd take some more pictures tonight. Although very little has changed, it's nice to look at the shiny-plant. Some of the group. Some individual close ups. Anyways, they are stinky as hell. I've just been dealing with the smell by cooling the room with an air...

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

I'm not big on numbers. Hell, I don't even own a scale. I'm just hoping for some great bud after all this work - weight be damned.

Some pictures from today. I tried to get an image so you can get a rough idea of size. Today will be Day 36 of flowering.

    How Much Yield?

It could range anywhere from 0g up to a couple ounces. You could end up having 5 male plants and get nothing (rare, but could happen). Basically, until they are just about through flower, no one will be able to accurately gauge your estimated output. Even when people show pictures AT harvest...

    Spider Mites!!

Well, he's got a 3-week time frame. I figured a week or so with some colder temps and more humidity should severely slow down their movement. Use the next week to feed&fix the plant, and then the final week to flush.

    Spider Mites!!

Well, I placed a humidifier infront of the intake to my grow box. I left it there for about a week, which boost the humidity to 90-100%. The spidermites can't operate in the high humidity, and simply slow down or die. This is under advice of the local hydroponic store as aneasy alternative to...

    Spider Mites!!

I got rid of my mite problem by boosting the humidity to 100% for a couple of days. It might work in this situation since it'll be the least chemically harmful to the plant.

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

Some pictures from just as the lights came on. They were fed water only today to help with the nute burn.

    Cutting Fan Leaves

I just trim any damage leaves from the plant. If there are healthy fan leaves in the way, then tuck them under another branch or something. I only trim/prune if the need arises. It's not like I'm trying to win some fucking rose contest - I just want my weed to be big and bountiful come harvest...

Jethro's Stealth CFL Closet Build and Grow

Some pictures from this morning. So, June 26 will put this at Day 29 of flowering. I think I'll take a stab and say that they're probably female.

I put mine outside the box and just extended the wires coming from the power supply.

No idea. Just a random strain clone. By the looks of things, it's leaning towards Sativa.
