I disagree, ask anyone on shroomery. One of, if not, the most important pin triggers is water evaporation. How will this occur if substrate is not able to absorb water, especially in a hot environment? The water will evaporate within an hour or so and I don't have time to check the FC every few...

It took 5-6 days as well for me. My pin is getting bigger at least 1.5 inches now. There's also a lot on the other cakes too.

Yeah as soon as I saw it I put a little h2o2 in the mister. They have been colonizing for a while so I hope they don't contam.

Looks like they gray growth was contamination, I just checked back today and they developed an intense green fuzz, the corner ones are still looking real good though, I threw out the two contaminated ones.

Since I put the two middles ones in they have been developing a little fuzz, I read on shroomery that is ok and comes from little FAE. This would make sense considering I started work a little while ago and can't fan as much anymore (once a day), here's some new pics...
