Assuming I'm using good outdoor strains and if I use 5 gallon buckets and put my small short plants out during the 1st week of may, will I have a good chance of pulling down half a lb. per plant? Will I have to veg indoors longer?
thanks

Well not always true but the difference is you can usually grow larger plants outside so that makes more bud sites and more weight. You can put 1 1000 watt light on 1 plant in a 20 gallon soil container inside and grow it to 6 feet and get over an lb inside.Nature gives you that extra room to grow
