Those C-Vaults look interesting, but damn they are expensive. I am lazy (don't want to burp, so use the Boveda) and cheap (use mason jars).

Yeah that's one up side to the humidipacks and Mason Jars but damn those C-vaults work great when used properly. A lot of people claim you can just harvest trim and put em in but you must dry the buds until the stems snap but leave a few sinews connected before you put them in.

personally I would not use humidipacks inside of the mason jar...... my approached is based on cigar storage, which just happens to be in that 62 to 65% RH range.

Once your jars have reached your desired % RH, then store those jars in a plastic food cooler with a passive or active humidity device to control the RH of the environment external to the jars.

If the contents of the jars are at 62% and the external environment of the jars is maintained at the same 62% RH, then they will never drop below that 62% RH

IMHO..... it's less effort to control one environment than several jars...in the cigar world they refer to this as a food cooler humidor as a "coolidor" (a poor man's humidor)

The large C-vault holds a pound and the humidity packs keep it at 62%, get a mini humidity/temperature gauge to put inside and avoid having to set up all that stuff and still save space. there are smaller vaults ranging from a QP at the small end I believe. Everyone has there ways dude n when you're new it's all about finding the technique to fit your current position financially, space wise or you're just not getting the yield you desire quite yet. The best we can do is give you as many options as possible so you can make an informed decision.

I'm in the 3 more week crowd...once you've grown it a couple times you can "look" at the plant and know its done...you'll look back at that pic down the road and laugh at yourself a little...looks great and don't get impatient...post pics every 5 days
