1000w hps, most plants possible?

correct me if im wrong but im under the impression that the more plants you put under a light the more lumens thier sucking up i was wondering if there was a certain number of plants per bulb or something like that if i shove 20 plants under 1 1000w hps am i gonna end up with really airy buds compaired to if i put 10 under there what im really after is potent dense buds like almost everyone else in the world can i still achieve that with 20 plants under one bulb or am i gonna have to get rid of some of my babies

25 sea of green style plants... grow em single cola style... you do this by giving them little to no veg {if clone} then lollipop or prune the lowwer branches that come out from main stalk

Directly from the bin, I usually put 25 rooted clones to every 9-16 square feet under one 1Kw hps.

its my first grow ever i mean ive watched a lot of friends do this so i got a good idea but im still pretty clue less so before i started trying to lst or top or sog i just wanted to get a decent harvest off just so i have some sort of a baseline for my next grow to go off of thank you very much for the info though it'll all help in the end

i got a 4x4x7 grow tent with a 1000w hps i put 20 clones in there straight from a dispencary they're about 2 weeks old and doing great i just would rather have quality over quanity if i have to choose but i really dont wanna get rid of my girls they look so great now

i put 5 under each of my 1000 watters, i only use 1000 watts for my bloom room ,t5's for veg and clones
