Everything is expensive where you are isn't it. What is the price per Kwh? Are you in amsterdam? I paying about 9 cents a KWh now and running 1400ws plus flouros

It just went up here from 17 cents to 19.5 cents a Kw. I run a 1000W MH 2 Grow n a 1000W HPS 2 Bloom. Plus a couple hundred more Watts 4 fans n pumps etc..
Still beats paying $20 a Gram 4 sum shit that some1 else grew without the love n care that I give. You can tell it has been cut early as the trichs havnt developed, it wasn't flushed, wasn't dried properly - and you can just 4get altogether about a cure..

How the room looks as of today. You can see the SLH in opposing corners and some Bagseed that has been growing off its head in the front right corner. It has been tied right over, hence it looks so small compared to the SLH.

Here are the lovely close-ups of the Trichs :)
It is odd, id say 80% of the white hairs have turned brown, yet the trichs hav not started to mature. Still 2 more weeks of flowering left to go tho..

The plants are in a tent of 3M long, 1.5M Wide, and 2M High. But, only fill about half of it, in the other half i have my reservoir, a fan, an air cooler & of course - a Seat so i can watch the Grass Grow :)
The light is a 1000W HPS - just the 1.
 
Sweet as, on to it setup there! Couldn't agree more with the seat lol. I also wrap with the silver reflective wrap, works a treat if kept clean. I'm using a 2m x2m tent also with 2 x 600watt HPS lights. HPS is definitely the way to go aye. Whats your humidity and high/low temps run at?? Cheers
 
I use a MH to grow, just use the HPS to bloom.
The Mylar does work a treat, i agree.
With the cool tube, extraction fan, pedestal fan, and air cooler i find my temps don't go past 26.5degrees, but are normally at 24degress on an average day. When it gets hotter i simply add ice n water to the air cooler, and its all good.
My mate in a similiar situation to me sees temps reach anywhere up2 35 wen im sitting on 26.5.
As for my humidity, i found it increased a bit wen i moved the reservoir in2 the tent, but i combated that with the extra airflow, and i put the extraction fan on for 15min every hr throughout the dark cycle to get fresh air in the room.
 
True. Yeah vege you can almost use anything in the blue spectrum, but a nice red spec HPS bulb for flower works a treat. Can go wrong with the clean mylar. I knew this one guy who used tin foil, idiot!
How you find the plants grow with a temp around 24 on average?? Mine normally sit around 28deg, sometimes up to 31.5deg if i leave a pot of water in the tent to increase humidity. When the lights are out the temp drops pretty dramatically, down anywhere around 17deg. They are all growing really well so must have adjusted I guess, after all it is a weed lol. The tents are wicked to grow in though, quite easy to get mould though if ya aren't too clean. Cheers
 
I was planning on buying a cooltube, but the hydroshop owner adviced me not to cause it blocks out a ton of light (in his words)..
What do you recommend?
 
Keep the glass clean, and i cant c y it is a problem? It's borosilicate glass after all, not uv glass, so i cant c y it does it.
Different ppl have different advice on all bits of kit, but i find that with a cool tube, i am happier with the results than without it..
Without it, my temps were pressing into the 30's, n i couldn't bring my light within 2 feet of my plants. Now my temp is a comfortable 24, n the light is within a foot of the canopy, which for a 1000W HPS light is no small feat.. Iv got some sweet mega-tight frosty nugs as a result.
But on a final note, ive neva heard any1 say they hinder the grower in his or her attempt at better bud.

Just checked in on em, and 90% of my hairs have gone brown now, so ladies and gentlemen, we are in the home stretch..
Its been a long time coming, tho still seems so long to go - 2 more weeks to grow, 2 weeks to dry, 2 weeks to cure..

thats bull shit on when the best time to lst is. Your plants are very young, and therefore easy to LST. I bend the shit out of my plants all the time right after watering, and they do great.. As long as the stems aren't too fat, and the plant isn't too big, its easy to lst. Dont listen to this newb who is lsting for his first time..

If u wana talk shit - do it elsewhere. That information is widely available to any1 on here from growers better than you and I..
As far as calling me a noob, y dont u f*ck back off 2 ur parents basement n tend 2 ur grow in its cardboard box with 2 halogens barely keeping em alive.
