Those videos (albeit very wordy and long) are the hands down BEST guide to cloning around. It's cool to be able to pull off cloning but these videos tell you exactly why and how the methods work.

Shit, you could put a cutting in a glass of tap water in the window and still get some sort of success. We're all growers here (hopefully), and knowledge is always going to be the key to success.

hey LAS - I'm glad you like looking at my nails... because I like looking at your SLH! I know now not to tear the medium apart - but it was my first time, I'm scared to death I'm going to kill one of them... and I don't know what I'm doing all the way yet - so nervousness and paranoia kicks in and I ripped the medium apart!! I won't be doing that on the next set of clones... i promise.

I did presoak my rockwool in ph 6.5 water with Clonex Seedling Additive, and then used the Clonex rooting hormone on the cuts/shaves. That was it!

yes GG - I felt like "YES - I don't have to buy anymore feminized seeds.... and now I know exactly what I'm going to get- as I only pulled clones off the good plants! So that makes me a very happy lady right now!

420 - thanks for the great comments... but I am certainly not the higher authority on cloning... t0rn's videos that he posted are a wealth of info - I only wish I had seen them before I cloned... I could have saved myself some stress! F**k me!! But - if you need anything, I will always try and make sure sure sure you have 100% humidity.

next time soak it in 5.5. thats better for conditioning rock wool. I'm really starting to feel these Root Riot cubes. Rockwool(still got about 450-500 cubes) has started to become tedious for me. Its just the waiting game for you atm.

Just give it time, i try to just forget about my clones completely as constantly checking up on them drive me haywire. try not to water the rockwool too much either, i noticed the cube you popped open was fairly wet. you want them moist. dont want the little roots drowning in the early stage.

Good advice MANE.... very good advice... and yes - my next round of clones will go much better but the unknown kills me because I'm a controlling bitch of a woman.... so when I don't know what's up (because it's my first time).... I'm all over it until I know I've got a handle on it.... which in turn causes me to do things I'm not supposed to do (like tear the medium apart and check and probably overwater) !! Peace.

nope its great, u showed and asked if everything was ok and at least we saw ur little cute root also u know not to do it again

gonna be a while before she shows her head again, wait untill u see the lemon clone i got from my mate gonna have 2 nurture her back to health before anything lol

how many slh plants did u have from seed? did u take some cuttings from each one 2 find a keeper?

i've also read about rockwool ph lower but never messed with rockwool so couldnt say for sure. dosnt look like it from here though lmao,great stuff mate

Yes - rockwool PH jacks everything up, that's why you soak them in a big fat bowl full of water and adjust the PH a second time - otherwise the PH will go high.

I got a 5 pack of Greenhouse Seeds on the SLH - there are 3 in this grow (all in flowering right now).... and yes I pulled 5 clones from each one to get the best...and then the other 2 seeds are vegging under a piss ant T5 right now to be put under the 1000w MH on Friday at 12:00!! when the big girls get moved over to the 4x8. So All 5 of SLH seeds sprouted and are going good.

5.5 for soaking the rockwool. but you want the pH to be of your res/solution to be around 5.8 for optimum nutrient uptake. optimal soil pH is 6.3-.65

i have to 2nd las statement about the french manicured nails. very nice indeed! and good job with the clones. only thing i learned is stop fucking with them and give them time. don't do anything, as hard as it is, for at least 7 days. just put them in and forget about them, well not really but you get the point. then after the 7 days check them and you will be pleasantly surprised. nice videos too. im going to get some of those dental scalpels. those look real nice.

I agree Dirk - put them in there and forget about it!! Next round of clones I will be able to do that - but I'm sure you read what I wrote about it being my first time and me being a control freak and all...
