This guy with rdwc tell me it's much better then the wilma and my loss if I go for wilma instead, but is he telling me this to sell his item or being honest, can u use the wilma as a recirculating system and keep tank topped up and change every 5 days or what ever just growing in clay pebbles and rockwool

I used to top off the wilma every couple of days and perform a complete dump and replace once a week.

I was recirculating in hydroton with 3x3 rockwool.

All I did was monitor EC and pH and adjust as necessary. If EC increases then top off with water and adjust pH. If EC decreased top off with slightly higher EC mix and pH.

The only issue with the wilma is that you can easily over water if you're not carefull.

In full flowering I was feeding for 15mins every few hours.

Hard to say.

Personally I loved my wilma (dirty rozzers) veg is quicker, flowering response is quicker, just keep tight control of EC and pH and see how it goes.

The good thing with the wilma is that the roots are separated in the pots rather than dipping into the water. So you don't have to worry too much about res temps and oxygen. With DWC and RDWC I think you need to make sure your res temps don't limit the dissolved oxygen in the water.

IMO you can't go wrong with the wilma.

you still need to keep it on your mind about res temps, you dont want it too cold or too warm, both stunt growth. Heat shouldnt be an issue for you since you have an air cooled light and it shouldn't get cold since its in the grow room.
