looking for a good led light for mainly flower but that could also be used for veg but doesn't have to be. Looking for something with good coverage 4 x 4 area and I want to get as close to results as a 1000 hps any ideas? ive been looking at blackdog led and they seem pretty good? Any suggestions would be very helpful will be first led light

sour d that s a good budget to start with. if ur fully and only committed to led stop reading here. having a little variety of lighting can be a nice luxury. i use a t5 ovr my clones and mother plant. and have an induction light and couple 600w hid s. the induction light was expensive but i wish i purchased the larger one. i m seeing different growth(good) w the induction vs the hid. an led can cover all the bases as well. apologize for being off topic or second guessing. also there s a separate thread for ur question

I would start looking at leds. If you check threads by bbspills and supraspl you will see amazing results. I personally just bought 100 cree cxa 3070 z2 2700k. I would*recommend to wait month and purchase those when I recieve them. Best bang for the buck at this moment

Nice to have a $2K budget for lights

Look at 420 IndaGro EDFL (I think it's good for 3 x 3, possibly more) + Pontoons .

You could also play with a led like A51 RW 150s

The Rolls Royce is Apache Tech, whether the extra money translates depends on the buyer, but you won't go wrong

If you are really serious, then apache at600 should be at the top of your list.
Like chron said, I'm doing a side by side(but no IG this round)...at600 vs 1000hps. My last run was the at600 and it was great.

Apache's website sucks but their product is unmatched. I have par readings as well as growers house has done tests too. It's the best led unit out by far and is matching 1000hps in coverage and intensity for real not just stating it.

Code RBK331 will get it down to $2K and is worth it. With the code the at600 is right there with any top company cost wise at $2.86/w.

I only want 16 but the 2700k color spectrum for the cree has proved to me that it can veg and flower with amazing results! I have the 3050 and I would like to turn it into veg and 16 3070 for a flower room in a 4x4. I bought 100 because that is the only way to get the prized spectrum in the 3070. I am going to offer them to anyone that wants them.

For $2K, get the big Apache Tech Unit.
This baby is world class, compared to the Black Dog being okay, at best.

You can get the light cheaper through Apache Tech's site with a discount code.
Just look for member Greengenes707 in our LED forum, he can give you all of the details, and the code.

I also agree with what Dawg said, too.
If you're going multipanel, go Area 51, I did, and have no regrets.
We consider them to be the best bang for your buck when it comes to LED's.

Nice dude, what's your plan for your at200's??

For this guy and his 4x4 he is going to need more than 2 littler units, and at200's get pricy quick. But...you get four at200's in one housing with the at600 for the same price as 2 little units. I used to say a51 was the best bang for the buck, but now that only applies to the smaller units in low numbers. Once you get to four units/1000w equivalent coverage and intensity, the at600 is the same price. I think if you have the space(4x4+) and are wanting true 1000hps like results then the at600 is one of the best bangs for the bucks in american panels. I bet you guys never thought that would be said about AT.
Like I said, their website blows, but the product is legit. They are all about showing that they are superior...just usually they do it in presentations to facility mangers and whatnot, and they don't realize that many common buyers need that info online.

Wanna put your money where your mouth is?

Instead of consistently boasting how good Apache is, and how "A51 is just a copy", how about we find a neutral grower, Apache puts up 1 AT600, I'll put up 6x of the rw75s, and we'll see what's up. 465w of A51 vs. ever how many watts the AT600 is. I'll even pay for a 4x4 tent for them to use.

I don't come on here talking about Apache's flaws, or how A51 is better than them, I just let the lights do the talking. Seriously, it's time to see some side by side results instead of all this talk you're doing.
