Got everything in today, but i am wondering if the happy frog bat guano 0-5-0 with humic acid (1.6% of the volume) has enough humic acid in it already.... thoughts anyone??
big papa sub adds it so im adding it. i want to follow the recipe to a T for the first time and if there is somthing i think might be beneficial i will try a run with that. you see his results and if you arent happy with similar then i dont think you ever will be. check his youtube channel for even more results of the super soil at work http://www.youtube.com/user/subcool420

I thought about adding some Great White to the mix but never did. I wonder if it would have made a difference? Anyone?

Try it and see what happens. Sub said himself he created a soil that will work that anyone can produce and use. He didn't expect everyone to follow his recipe to a T he expected people to add different ingredients and experiment.

I just read the ingredients and process to making this super soil...I want to utilize this mixture in an indoor garden and do not want to bring pests from outdoors indoors. How could i let it cook for the 30days required without risking contamination with pests/harmful bacteria and fungus? Sounds like keeping it uncovered is the proven method?

Is it possible to cook this stuff in a garage...away from pests?

Adding myco to the mix will only make things better right? The only source of myco is commin from what is in the soil itself...

wrong, your suppose to cover it up, I put a heavy tire on top of the lid to keep pest out.

Thanks for the correction, i didnt see this anywhere in the first post by subcool...ill look through it again.
and in addition to the lid on the can you can do like i plan to do and cover it with a trash bag and seal it with duct tape for added protection. MYCO will only help and cant hurt but im going to wait and add that when i do the actual planting.

a list of a few things i have, can someone tell me if this is a good start for an organic grow supplementing with organic nutrients?

fox farm ocean forest
1oz botanicare zho rhizosphere root inoculant
2oz 100% earthworm castings
2.25oz bat guano high phos 0-13-0
1oz water soluble inoculant with beneficial bacteria
3 types of myco- age old grow, great white, humboldt nutrients

im sure this is enough for a plant or two right? i think ill go out and get some dolomite lime and a few other additives as well...any suggestions on must have items for this soil?

get the recipe. all are easy to come by and are inexpensive. most costly item is the roots

was just curious why the 2 different types of soil.. ik it sounds dumb ...the roots and biobiz?
I think its mainly becouse each of the 2 soils have a wide variety of different things in them. Bio Bizz light is great , especially for starting seeds/clones and the Roots is more of a buffet for your plant with a lot of different nutrients. When using something as strong as the Super Soil you defintley want some good "buffer" to mix in with it so you dont fry your plants.

Anyone, If I answerd this or any other questions wrong please PLEASE correct me. I dont want anyone getting bad info and ruining something great becouse of me.
