24/0 or 18/6 ?

I've researched on using 24/0 and 18/6 hours of light. I have 2 small plants vegging atm under a 125W Ecolite (Blue) CFL with a SunMate PowerPlant reflector, which would be the best hours of light for them?

Personally, I would choose 18/6 but I have heard a lot of advantages when using 24/0.

Different strains will respond differently to every cycle. My Auroras and my Skunks love 24/0, but my White Russians start looking tired after 18 hours. To figure out what works best with your strain, start with 18/6 and increase the light cycle an hour per day. Go into the room just before lights out and see how your plant looks. You will be able to see when she has had too much.

I had mine on 24/0 wanted to use less electric so switched to 18/6 and they didnt respond well. I think they got a bit confused
apparently plants need time to rest and do this regardless if the light is 24/0 so its a waste of electric and the plant don't sleep properly

I've put them on 20/4 for now, as that seems more sensible as it allows the plants to get some sleep. Electricity bills aren't really that problematic.

Yeah titty.........that sounds more logic scientifically. 18/6 .... but hey it's a crap shoot. Go with what YOU want to do, try it out .... if it works? Good Job! If it don't? Try 24/0 or 20/4....or hell! Go 12/12 from seed. Ok enough rambling.
