2x4 grow tent ( HUMIDITY QUESTION)

Is the air outside hot? It may be hot in the sun, but the air should be cooler than your house, unless you run ac.

I would run veg cycle from 6pm to 12 pm.
Flower from 9pm to 9am.

Intake from a window. Blowing air downward at lights
Exhaust into bedroom from top.
Have a small tower fan like 1 footer below lights.
I used to grow like this with 2 tents,
Window>downwards into tent> connect top and bottom vents to next tent> exhaust from top.

What kind of light are you running? I didn't see, sorry if you posted. Lazy atm
Do you have a picture like how it’s get from out to tent, didn’t get the way it goes inside of the tent ..

Oh man, thanks for your reply didn’t expect to get the answer that fast , 80-90 looks like waaaaaay too much ... imo... I’ve spotted some mites after month or so of growing and than I’ve realized they’ve been almost everywhere ... so yeah... I’ve put 2 bigs air vents and two small ones... but when the lights went off .. humidity jumped from 64 to 78 and no good smell were coming ... that’s why I’m worried bout it... I’m just as well confused what’s “good” airflow looks like..
what i do is hang bits of string say 10-15 cm above the canopy now i set my inlines and normal desk fans up so once i got good swing on the string u no u have the right amount of airflow

Would it be better to switch ac infinity that works on max 24/7 to get the air out and switch to the one that runs in and less powerful , would it be better or not ?
Not sure I understand this correctly but I would blast the stronger ac fan out. Find a way, anyway, to vent out of that room. Otherwise you’ll just be chasing your tail. If the exhaust is strong enough you could even use passive intake as long as the opening is large enough.

Chasing the tail ha ha you’re good at explanation
I have 3 windows in the tent for passive vent , should I give it a try ( my tent and passive openings just couple inches to the wall, would it make any difference? I’ve never used them before..

My passive intake is a 6” hole with ducting running through it in a “U” shape. Here’s a pic!
On the inside on the tent the ducting is doing the same thing, so that the tent wall splits the “U” if that makes sense?
It keeps light totally out, and it’s right next to the wall as well with no issues.
I’m adding a pic of my ducting out of the tent to the window as well just so you can see it :)
The last pic is inside the tent (intake). It’s an old pic but it’s the same except the plants are way bigger!

So I’ve mentioned you got the window that you can open in the middle of the bottom part of the grow tent ( back side) I got 3 of those , can it be passive intake as well? Or a tube is important? You have way more space than me , Its hard to put the arm beside to the wall . Btw is that duct goes out to the outside window ? Or another just another room?

Yeah those flaps/window things can totally be intakes. Come flowering though they should be shut so light isn’t getting in.
I like the tube for intake cause it makes it easier for me and keeps the light out, %100. The exhaust needs the tubing to carry the air from the tent out the window (which leads to outside) which is being pushed by my exhaust fan.
Here’s pics of the inside set up if that helps. The grey thing hanging in front of the fan is for my light so ignore that lol. Another old pic. Sorry if I’m not answering the exact question you need man

haha you also got infinity but bigger than my I guess, I supposed to get like yours one as I see now.. hey mate , I got couple question for you . The first is what’s is that purple on the leaves ? I’ve used only ghe base and cal mag and hydro guard from botanic care, now ive got from 2 days ago pure blend pro bloom soil formula and I did put that in the nutrients day or so ago list so recommended dosage was 25 ml per gallon and I guess I did 20 per gallon .cuz I had phosphorus deficiency for a while for sure , and so , I gave em food , and than this purple on the leaves appears that I’ve got no idea is that def or too much... the other thing I’ve mentioned my ppm was showing me all the veg 500-600 ppm . ( I’m not
Sure if it’s works right way anymore ..) When I add pure blend pro silica base and cal mag it’s been like 550 and the drainage was 650 ( on the one where is no purple ) didn’t see overfeeding either but on the other plant it’s purple ... I’ve also mentioned when I started to give her PK she calmed down a bit in her food needs( coco seems less dry) . Another question is if I can hold tent like that to keep temperature and humidity down ? I guess I’ll find anything light and breathable to cover that up from top to the bottom to keep the fly’s and others out( it helps calm
Down both temperature and humidity that’s why I’m about to do so) ..Here’s pics any advice would much appreciated ! Especially purple one... on the leaves not many but its there...didn’t seem
Them before . is that overfeed or deficiency , thanks in advance! 5F137859-95C2-4511-AF3E-8D4D37AE6069.jpeg5E7A4237-2043-4920-AFAE-9A9A6844A54D.jpegFA9198D5-6614-4832-96FB-7AB0D65F6453.jpeg30A3788C-7304-4D7B-8E17-5CD5934EE2C5.jpeg

In the pics I put up of my intake next to the plants, the purple is just the light I had in there at the time before my big one arrived.
I do have the bloom soil nutrient, but have yet to use it.
I also grow in soil so I couldn’t help you too much with coco.
Someone else would need to chime in before you go doing this, but I think a flush, then go back in with the same nutrients you were using, just less on the bloom soil stuff. Like 1/3-1/2 dose maybe. Other than that are you pHing your water? That’s the first step in any leaf issues you see. We can work from there.

Depending on how big your tent is I would go for the 6” ac infinity fan. I run mine at 4 MAX (usually 2) and it keeps my temps and humidity perfect.
And for the flaps.. there’s a video I found on YouTube where this guy makes light traps out of cardboard for the flaps. That way there is still airflow and you can keep them open during flower without light getting in during dark times.

Been checking the site whole day to get your reply bout the purple, didn’t get the part , it’s just the light ? Too close you mean? 60-65 humidity at night with ac max in the living room , got no duct anymore which is sucks buds are growing.. confused bout smell that not nice ... did you put your intake upward or side way ?

Yeah in my picture (The one I uploaded) with the purple, is that what your talking about? It’s a blurple lights I had in there. Now I don’t.
I’m not sure what caused the purple tips on your plant, other than flowering genetics.
My intake is horizontal.
Could I see a pic of your set up? It would really help

That was a light burn.. according to GWE. Damn I have a bad odor mixed with bud odor now trying to find out what’s that...keeping the ph lvl 6.0 -6.2

I’d like to see those traps

I’ll make pictures in the morning , I guess you were right gotta get some extra duct and do smth about it ... the tube of exhaust goes only upward without any length ...
