As long as there is no direct light on the plants than there wont be anything to worry about when getting hermies but still delays flowering time if there is "any" light reflecting onto them. You have to think how the plant uses energy man. light is for photosynthesis, if their is photosynthesis than all that happens is developement of more leaves. But when theier is no light at all the flowers freak out and begin to grow more rapidly and consistently until you add light for photosynthesis again. "Bud growth" is not dependent on "light" to help them grow. the leaves make valuable sugars that help to creat other sugars that create the Cannabinoids or THC. If you mess with the light schedule of your plant than your plant will freak out and think that there is no more time for it to gather The "males pollen" and creates the male parts to grow and create a hermaphrodite, then the males parts will pop open and fertilize you females and get seed developement and creats a non "Sensimilia crop." Again bud growth only grows during the dark cycle and the leaves in the daytime creat the building blocks for the night cycle to create pitils. In the day cycle the plant stretches out and the night cycle the plant grows more pistils and grows thick with them. This is important to understand this about lighting.

well its been three weeks since i put a 200 watt envirolite over it,it used to have an 18watt fluro

the more light the better. have to have light lots of it. i usually run a 400wtt mh along with it but i'm down to just one 400 wtt and it in my veg room.
