Welcome back Bobo. I liked your alternate ego, Brobo, just fine but it is good to see the real deal back in da house. :-)

It has been a while since I got out to the shed for a photo shoot. I figured I'd give each girl her own entry today so they don't have to share the runway with any of the other beauties. First up is the Shooting Star.

The stretch is definitely over now and the frost factory is working overtime. As you can see from the aerial shot, she's a bit sprawled out. I could barely get her all in the picture. After these shots I did some serious containment work so she's now under control.

I don't think there is much more I can say about this beauty. The pictures speak for themselves. She's rounding the corner into the home stretch. Some of the pistils are starting to turn, calyxes are plumped up nicely, trichomes are still clear. She seems to be ripening from the bottom up. I'm guessing she'll go about 2 more weeks. I think I'll take a sample bud or two off the bottom for a little 4/20 BBQ preview.

Thanks Trueno! The Kali Mist went into flower right about 9 weeks after the seed broke ground. I topped her for two main branches and then wrapped her in a spiral around the pot. Most of what you see on her are side branches that grew up after I bent the main branches. She's a hefty one for sure.

dang, looking real good MS. your KM looks way better then the pheno I had, mine was way too airy and stretchy. that SS is looking stellar as well, lots of arms. nice structure on the DP fem girl too, i see her starting to frost up - looks like she didn't stretch much either. my 4 DP fems are @ 2weeks into flowering and they didn't stretch much, just barely starting bud production

You can really see the AK-47 structure in that Kali Mist...wow. That looks very similar to one of the AK phenos I ran out my last Serious run a couple years ago. I knew he added some AK, but I didn't think it'd be that evident. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Tops, tops, tops! Everything is so well trained, I bet if you whistled they would lay down and roll over! Excellent work!

Thanks EC. Do you know if your KM was from the original line, before they reworked it to increase production? Thanks to BP's suggestion, I took a cut of the KM while she was early in flower and it is now rooted and re-vegging. I'd be happy to share when she gets big enough to take cuts off of her.

I'm really happy with the way the SS is shaping up. I think she's going to be a nice hash producer which means lots of tincture in my future. :-)

The DP is definitely looking good too. She is just a little behind the SS in the frost department but I'm sure she's just getting started. I was looking through some old pictures of the DP cut I ran for a while a couple years ago. The bud structure on this one looks much better at this stage than the one I used to run. If she frosts up like that cut did I'll be completely stoked. I'm excited to see how she finishes.

Thanks for the insight on the Kali Mist BP. I didn't know they used AK-47 when the reworked the line. I'm even more excited now! Even if it is a little less sativa dominant than it used to be, "watering it down" with AK-47 is just fine in my book.

Thanks for the compliments on the training. Since I have such a low ceiling in the shed, bondage is my friend.

Nice girls you got there BP that SS and DP are already frost as hell
Thanks Hotsauce!

not sure which line mine came from, it was gifted. it stretched 3x tho, very airy structure, super frosty and potent though. but 1oz off a 4' tall plant wasn't acceptable for me.

kinda weird, being my favorite girl, you'd figure i'd have tons of pics of the DP. nope, i can only find a few :( and not good ones at that. mom gets pretty frosty and dense, when dialed in she puts on colas :) under the 1000s we could get 4oz off a 3'-4'

Man that KM is huge! Those are some real pretty girls. I especially love the overhead shots of the plants since they are so nicely topped and there are tops EVERYWHERE!

Nice update Medshed!
All three girls are beauties. Can't wait to see how the KM finishes up and that SS is packing on some serious resin! Gotta love seed runs :)

I can see why you wouldn't keep her around with that poor of productivity. The high would have to be REALLY special to run something like that.

Thanks CAS. I like the overhead shots too. If the plants were any bigger or wider I wouldn't be able to get the shots. I've got to stand on a milk crate and hold the camera up to the ceiling of the shed to get those shots.

Nice update Medshed!

Thanks bshdctr. I'm definitely happy with how things are turning out now. I just hope the weather doesn't get any hotter between now and when they finish up. The shed gets hot when it bakes in the sun and I don't have any way of cooling it other than sucking (hot) outside air in to exchange with the hot inside air.

Med... I need not even say it. Amazing. All over. :weed: :weed:

I like how you switched up the lighting, too... Dragging your shutter a little bit for some ambient warmth. It all falls under the same theories of color balance. Bend the rules like you bend your branches, and your results will be stronger. Ancient Bobo proverb. :peace:

Thanks Bobo! You know the difference on the lighting was that I took these pictures during daylight hours. There is a small skylight in the shed that let better ambient light in. Lighting in that shed is a challenge though. That is, lighting for picture taking. The lighting in the grow room part is just fine. :-)

I like the ancient Bobo proverb...
