If they fuck these laws all to shit and make the act useless. I will be heading west no doubt in my mind.... Colorado, Oregon and last pick Cali. I'm young with no family so that should make the move easy. I am already going to Colorado in a month to scope out jobs and places to live. I just don't know If I can go back to buying from low level street dealers with mexi brick and looking over my shoulder day and night. Not to mention the thousands of dollars invested in my grow. Unfortunetly I think all of these bills are going to pass mainly because most of the legislature just hears everyone saying there's too much grey area when in reality none of them have read the whole act in it's entirety! I just have this sneaking suspicion that they are going to pass bills that contradict the act its self and contradict other bills that are passed.

they all still need to get thru 75% SM Vote in Both House and Senate. Senate is a wash, it is nearly all repubs. so almost anything can get threw senate. We must beat these in the house. I will post up the vote of Yeas, and Nays, anyone that voted Yes, needs to be HAMMERED from here to November. THEY MUST BE FIRED! It is up to us.

There are Bills pending, in both the Michigan House and Senate, which relate to the medical use of marihuana, and may circumvent the Medical Marihuana Act that was approved by voters in 2008.

Here are samples of Bills that are being considered.

Senate Bill 17 would amend the Public Health Code to prohibit a person from organizing or operating a marihuana club or bar; or knowingly allowing land or a structure on land he or she owned or possessed to be used as a marihuana club or bar.

SB 259 - would ban any synthetic equivalents of the substances contained in the plant, or in the resinous extractions of cannabis and synthetic substances, derivatives, and their isomers with similar chemical structure or pharmacological activity, or both.

SB 321 - will not allow a person receiving personal protection insurance coverage due to an auto accident to receive marihuana as medication.

SB 377 - will dismiss the privacy aspect of the Medical Marihuana Act, and allow the names of patients to be distributed to law enforcement agencies.

SB 418 – this bill will make it impossible to sue or create a private cause of action against the State or a political subdivision of this State.

SB 504 – this will establish a buffer whereby a person can be prosecuted if they conduct a transfer of marihuana within 1,000 feet from a clearly identified house of worship or school, other than a home school, unless the transfer occurs inside the residence of a qualifying patient who has been issued and possesses a registry identification card.

SB 505 – the 2008 law disallows a person with drug related felonies from being a caregiver, this bill would disallow persons with any type of felony from being a caregiver.

SB 506 – defines a bona fide physician/patient relationship

House Bill 4850 – makes it illegal for patients to acquire or transfer marihuana.

H B 4854 – will make it illegal for a caregiver to advertise for or to patients; or of the availability of marihuana.

I was born in this state, I grew up here, I raised my kids here and they will raise their kids here.

I will not surrender my state to the tyranny of Corporamerica.

I say if this is what they want. We just have to outlaw the state enforcement of cannabis prohibition. Help.repealtoday.org we need to move more people in that want cannabis legal for all uses. Look at the cost of petroleum fuel. Cannabis farming can and will replace petroleum. Its just possible that cannabis is the cure for many types of cancer. Manifest Destiny, cannabis is the original sin. it is the tree of knowledge there was no Apple. It is what defines us. Cannabis is the cure for the human condition.

Our lawmakers and law enforcement are agitated that they had no say in the medical act other than the single vote that every registered voter in Michigan got. Every attempt to clear up "grey areas" of the law equate to "How can we still arrest these people?" or "How can we make this process as difficult as possible?" The proposed constitutional amendment to end marijuana prohibition has a lot less grey areas and needs more support from the community.

Well, heart beat depending on housing market. lol. I love this state, but I am getting pretty tired of the direction it has been going in. I need to relax and not be stressed out. I would like to grow outside too.

we can do all that here, IF we take our state back to the People Glad. That is my goal...

Michigan was the 1st state to repeal alcohol prohibition. the country followed. Mi was the state that CREATED the Middle class when Henry Ford realized if he wanted to sell 5000 cars a year, he had to have people that could afford them. When H. Ford started Ford, it was estimated that only 1000 to 2000 people could afford the 400.00 price tag for this first autos. SO he Paid his workers more, creating the middle class, that could afford to purchase 10,000 cars or more a year. We need to get back to this line of logic.

If you watch the video it sounded like to me they made changes to allow outdoor grows and legal transportation of live plants in your vehicle. Im with you on stressing out seem like I have been a little too much lately but it hard when I have a room full of plants and government wants to lock me up.

It's funny you bring up Ford. Ford used cannabis in his vehicles. All his fabric was cannabis, his engines were designed to run on ethanol, his composites were hemp fibers not glass fibers, the list goes on for days.

Also Ford grew all his own. He grew up to 1940 or so. Diesel the inventor of the diesel engine. Intended hemp seed oil as the main fuel. The whole problem is if we allowed these to take place. We would not have the toxic carcinogenic petroleum floting around to give people cancer. And people wouldn't buy $8.00 a gallon gasoline. Cause everyone could grow there own fuel.

"The international financiers are behind all war. They are what is called the International Jew -- German Jews, French Jews, English Jews, American Jews. I believe that in all these countries except our own the Jewish financier is supreme... Here, the Jew is a threat." - Henry Ford

"I regard Henry Ford as my inspiration," - Adolph Hitler

Just sayin' folks, just sayin'.

ahh the good old days. Ford was the catalyst for cannabis prohibition. He Proved the overwhelming viability of cannbis and everything it can do. That scared the then young industrial complex, because they seen EVERYONE could become self sufficient, and even wealthy if they could grow cannabis for next to nothing.

the original motor was not only made to run on ethanol, but ethanol made from cannabis. Then Big Oil.

Oops forgot to add hemp in there. He called it Hempoline, or something. All I have are facts. Not one to follow propaganda.

I watched the video..virtually every bill was amended to improve patient rights. So..instaed of Timmahh's 'the sky is falling", the system actually worked like it is supposed to. The bills simply clarify the law..not uneccissarily further restrict it. I don't know how anyonecan have an issue with the bills voted on today..They were extemely fair.
