Look what came in the mail today!
1 Northern Lights x BigBud (Auto/FEM)
2 Bubba Kush (Complimentary)
I am so excited to get this whole grow rolling! I will be growing the 2 autoflowers completely till the end with 18/6 lighting and I plan on introducing the 2 bubba kush plants around the end of the first crops life cycle on the same 18:6

nl bb auto was the best smoke out of a 75 plant run i just did!! your going to love it. I did have one pheno that is still budding 90 days from when it germed, still 100% white hairs but stinky and crystally as hell!! good luck. and you could bend the top over at 6 inches, wont hurt it a bit. i always just let them grow normal, never trained an auto.
and when i started some under a hps they were all messed up, the ones under the t5 were 100X better, healthier, bigger, more branching and everyting about them was better, the hps made them tiny, screwed up leaves, yellow tint, stunted growth,,,,, they really sucked under a hps for me. but i did finish them under a hps.

That'll work..your gonna have some ns buds here.keepem coming.is she too young to LST? about 6 inches tall now with 3 sets of leaves

as long as theres no heat issues at the canopy you should do all the good,24 inches is ideal for a 400 during veg.thanks for the advice man! I've got them under the HPS pretty high for right now I'm gonna lower the lights more and more and see how they respond

Update for ya guys I started to LST her and I bent her over then decided I am just gonna grow all natural for this plant so I pulled her back up and filled her wih more soil right under the first set of leaves (I'm sure she will be back pointing towards the light in a few hours)

Due to time constraints I have decided to go ahead and begin germination of the bubba Kush and Alaskan thunderfuck seeds
hopefully the will be sprouted and seedlings by this time next week.
I plan on vegging them for about 4 weeks, (Topping and fimming) before throwing them under a 12/12 light schedule)
This would mean that my autoflowers will have had about 6 weeks of growth under 18/6 and then final few weeks under 12/12.
when it's all said and done I want 2 crops harvested relatively closely.maybe looking at taking clones down the line.

haaa... Ive growin the bubba kush and atf too. lol Still have some of the seeds from 2010, I should sprout some of them. it was matanuska tundra. The bubba kush i got as a freebee and never got to harvest it, the dea harvested it for me. the tundra was from seedsman i think?? where is your from?

Well I got mine as freebies lol and the ATF we found in a An OZ of the stuff
But alas I don't want to introduce a new light cycle to my babies so I'm gonna skip out on growing the photos for now and just grow autoflowers so I can reintroduce new plants and get a harvest every few weeks
Also the NL sprouted and her first day above ground begins today
Also I have to ask, how close can I get her to my HPS? Honestly with the ventilation system I have I can send air conditioned air over my bulb and hood and it is cool to the touch so heat is NOT an issue whatsoever. My plants can be touching the cool tube for all that matters.

for that tiny sprout, they actually do better with a bit less light ime. even it heat isnt an issue, too much light could still burn them. i started some under the hps and it was way too strong for them,,, it was a 1000w tho.

Hey Patch everything's looking good and the girl is looking very green and healthy. I've only grown an auto once because it was a freebie so don't know too much abou them but don't worry about the leaves curling down unless its doing it on the new leaf sets coming out. I usually keep the lights as far as what my hand can handle. I know yours will be different because your running a/c to keep light cool but I wouldn't go no more than 10-12in because even tho your tube is cool they still can be light bleached so don't have it to close. Just keep doing what your doing right now and you should have some pretty plants in no time. Good luck with everything and Im subbed up.
