400 watt Pineapple Chunk and Orange Bud with a side of Mexican Bag Seed

I hate to be the party pooper but you picked about the worst strain possible to grow with a 400 watt light. Barneys pineapple chunk (or tangerine dream for that matter, I'm pretty much done with anything from barney that contains sativa) is an enormous plant and takes forever to finish and buds are generally sorta airy even with 2000W . I doubt you could sufficiently grow one PC with a 400 watter never mind several of them.

My advice to you is either a) possibly use SCROG b)to start over with a reasonable strain or c) Train the crap out of them or d)at the very least put them in flower earlier that you would normally put them in. They grow HUGE(this is not a good thing).

Well thanks for stoppin by and checkin out my thread, but in responce to you. I will be training the hell out of it in the next few weeks, and by the time I go to flower it will be one of a few plants in the tent. As you may have seen I have Mexican Bag Seed going also and I don't expect all of thoughs to make past week 6 or 7. I do have to cull for males with them. I am looking for huge so that would be a plus as well the more female bag seed I get I have made plans to either add additional lighting or go to a larger wattage.

Doing some semi main lining, eh? I approve!

Not sure what your light schedule is but I've been doing some major pruning/training myself so I decided to go with a 20/4 veg schedule. Those extra few hours have really helped the girls recovery time while still keeping me on my schedule. Just a fyi.

Can't wait to see how your girls progress...

Thanks for the pic of what I hope to be trimming soon. Stick around and watch as to what I have in store for them, you will see that they will be cut bent and controlled. By the way you had a nice grow, 14 weeks is a norm for me at the most I'll go 16 as I like to extend the veg alittle. Trimming only means more bubble hash and who doesn't like a little extra during the holidays...lol.

Brother Amaximus, there is no semi about it...lol. It's all mainlining, this is how far I have taken them. I'm not pushing them till I get what I want to go to flower with. When I get 8 solid heads up and veggin for a couple weeks then I'll switch to 12/12. I've been running them at 20/4 from seedlings, and yes it has helped in the recovery. I'm clonning everything I take above where I'm starting my maifold, since I have bag seed once the clones root I will switch to flower to find the ones that are male and toss them along with the plant they came from.

Ok, I see. I saw those nodes below the manifold and thought you intended to keep them, that's why I said semi. It looks like you have your bases covered. I can't wait to see what you can do with this grow.

Scrog 10 007.jpgScrog 10 008.jpg Bag Seed #2 is my weird lady she has 3 branches on the same node, going for 6 and hope to have 12.
Scrog 10 002.jpg Bag Seed #3 cut and bent for 4 going for 8.
Scrog 10 006.jpg Bag Seed #4 cut and bent for 4 will be going for 8.
Scrog 10 005.jpg Bag Seed #5 cut and bent for 4 going for 8.

Time for my weekly update, have a few plants that are taking shape pretty quickly.
Scrog 12 001.jpgScrog 12 002.jpg Bag Seed #1 hasn't jumped up there for to cut for 8 tops, might just grow this one out with 4, waiting on sex from clones.
Scrog 12 003.jpgScrog 12 005.jpgScrog 12 006.jpg Bag Seed #2 has also slowed to a crawl on growing want to top for 6 and then again for 12, also waiting for sex from clone.
Scrog 12 007.jpgScrog 12 008.jpg Bag Seed #3 is veggin just fine this one is cut and bent for 8 tops. Waiting for sex from clone.
Scrog 12 011.jpgScrog 12 012.jpg Bag Seed #5 is vegging just fine is cut and bent for 8 tops, waiting for sex from clone.
Scrog 12 013.jpgScrog 12 014.jpg Pineapple Chunk is cut and bent for 8 tops and is vegging.
Scrog 12 015.jpgScrog 12 017.jpg These are my Orange Buds that replaced the original seedling they are not quite ready to top and train.
Scrog 12 019.jpgScrog 12 020.jpg Orange Bud clone is vegging just fine has 8 solid tops.
Scrog 12 021.jpgScrog 12 022.jpg This is the only Bubblelicious Autoflower that has survived and grown.
Sad to say I lost one plant Bag Seed #4 just wasn't ment to be, she curled up and died after cutting her for 4 tops.

Nice update, Tx. The girls are stressing and will take time to recover. I'm not telling you anything you don't know though. I topped my last girl for 8 on September 24th and I'm still waiting for her to fully recover so I can toss her into the bloom tent.

I have to say, I like that second bagseed (Revenge of bagseed #2!); Those three tops are awesome. I'd definitely go for 12 like you are.

Good luck.

That is not a reveg, it is a seedling that just grew that way. All the bag seed plants are straight from seed the only plant I have that would be concidered reveg is the Orange Bud Clone and it has started to take off. I'll veg these for 2 maybe 3 weeks before I go to flower, my goal is to get tops up to 12 to 14 inches from the soil then flower.

Thanks for stoppin by Brother Dawg, it looks like alot but over half are Bag Seed and I haven't gotten them sexed yet. I expect to lose half of the bag seed due to being male so time will tell.

Here we are 6 weeks in the pot and most have been pruned and bent for 8 heads, still got one to work with and get vegged out before flowering.
Scrog 13 010.jpgScrog 13 011.jpgScrog 13 012.jpg Pineapple Chunk vegging out for a couple more weeks, once she clears the frame I bend out the braches and start to flower.
Scrog 13 014.jpgScrog 13 015.jpgScrog 13 016.jpg Bubblelicious Auto, just veggin out startin to get some stretch to her frame.
Scrog 13 017.jpgScrog 13 018.jpg Orange Bud, still workin on this one, she is pruned for 4 and going for 8 tops.
Scrog 13 019.jpgScrog 13 020.jpgScrog 13 021.jpg Bag Seed #1 is veggin out still need to get her frame done, she is cut and bent for 8 tops.
Scrog 13 022.jpgScrog 13 023.jpgScrog 13 024.jpg Bag Seed #3 is veggin out waitin for her to clear her frame before I bend for the last time.
Scrog 13 025.jpgScrog 13 027.jpgScrog 13 026.jpg Bag Seed #5, is veggin out waiting for her to clear her frame for her final bend.
Scrog 13 028.jpgScrog 13 029.jpgScrog 13 030.jpg Orange Bud Clone, has been cut for 8 tops and is veggin away nicely, may not make a frmae for her as she is so compact and tight.

Out of 6 bag seed, one failed to germ, bag seed #4 curled and died after pruning and bag seed #2 turned out to be a male. All the clones I took to sex have shown which plants to keep and of the 5 plants #2 and #4 were both males. So I have 7 plants to carry over to flowering.
