There are no signs that your plant is a hermie. What were you seeing? Pollen sacs are very obvious and they first show right around the female preflowers. They generally come in sets of three at the beginning and are very noticeable. I think your in the clear but keep an eye out for the next few days if your nervous.

Thanks man! Besides the fans is there anything else I can do to prevent mildew/mold?

if I get it what should I do? Currently I'm waiting for the lights to come back on... How can I tell if any mold or mildew formed?
A dehumidifier near the spill area. I would take up any carpet that may have gotten wet. And use a little bleach and water on the floors and walls that got wet as well. A little preventative clean up could help out in the long run.

Has anyone got into their grow room when the lights where off and put on a green light? I replaced the bulb in the room with a Green Floro because I wanted to check on the wet area even when the lights where off. Its crazy how they look, they look all droopy like they are sleeping at first it worried me then I waited for the light period to come back on and bamb they where all perky again bathing in that light! It really was amazing I didn't think there would be such as drastic change while the plants where sleeping.. Anyway obviously I know I should try and keep visits into the room to a min but I did read online that a green light wouldn't disturb the dark cycle.

green light is completely safe fer yer girls. and actually most people can read a news paper in the dark period of plants! think of full moons in outdoor grows. :blsmoke:

Ok so I am probably just concerned about nothing but I got my bud scope in the mail today and I took some close up pictures of what I think is the hermi plant the female plant doesn't appear to have these little sack things..

But maybe these are female preflowers? Not sure...

sorry dude, looks like you got a male. The males usually show first. The females will have hairs sticking out where the balls are. Don't feel bad I got three males. But the one girl is nice. I got clones of her so the next grow will be much better.

Ok so I cut the male out, hopefully the female doesn't have any negative reactions!

Here are some before and after pics plus a pic of the tool I used to cut it, this pair of snips is amazing it cut it down like it was nothing.

I also back filled the area where the male was with more hydroton.

Well I'm sad I had to cut out half my crops for my next grow I have all femanized seeds, I'm just waiting on my light mover for the tent!

Anyway I adjusted the light so it sits at nearly a 45 degree angle so it shines better over the plants, I also did a little more supper cropping I read I have 2 weeks so another few days then I have to stop bending them, but I want to get the most light coverage before they really start to bud and see if I can maximize this grow. I know its way to early for an estimate but I'm hoping for a few ounces dry! We will see..

Thanks for the advice and I do appreciate it, I did pay a lot for my seeds.

I plan to take clones of every plant from seed and label them all and then kill the clones which have bad "mothers" then keep cloning off the mothers going forward.. I am still learning but it is defiantly a lot of work to get everything working perfect.

Well after I had to cut out the male plant it seems like the female is doing quite well, I'm hoping it stops stretching because yesterday was the two week mark in flowering.

I can see some slight improvement in the "bud sites" but I am hoping to see more action over the next few days.

Here are the pics.

Thats the one positive about the male is your remaining girl will have more room to do her thing, she looks good and bushy, keep up the good work and she will pay you off in the end, take care, peace
