5,7,9 or 11 Pointed Leaves ?

This is my first grow so I wasn't sure about this. Do all strains have some leaves that will have 11 points? I know that the younger leaves have a smaller number of points, but they seem to vary. Does having more points on leaves indicate a strain that is superior or more potent than others?

Opinions on this please.

I have grown for alittle bit and have read having more tips on your leaves is do to having great light .however most my grows are the typical 5 or 7 leaves and some very good strains but I do have a mother of canterbury green bud a strain that was started many many many years ago in my state and that plant always produces 9 tips no matter the light 24/7 18/6 with minimum light. So maybe it has to do with the strain and also light but that canterbury strain isn't crossed with anything and proably one of my all time favorites so I would have to say the more tips the better all around the plant should be. Maybe someone with a few more years under there belt can answer this better for you but that's my take on it. Hope I helped alittle happy holidays peace

plant size seems to be the biggest contributor to this in my experience (though size per age can be greatly dependent on light...). Some of the books out there talk about seeing up to 15-17 points on large outdoor trees. The more untouched a branch is the higher chance I have of more blades, again just my experience.

Yea, I have a few leaves that have 11 points, and for some reason I keep looking for and wanting more.

Somehow I got it in my mind that I want more points on my leaves! lol
