Thats bad ass. Whats your electric bill like??
It runs me about $270 for the flower room per month thats everything on 12/12, 108w air pump, 2 440cfm inline fans, lights. my veg room has an open door policy so there is no ventilation in there, just circulating fans and 108w air pump. Veg room runs about $125 on 18/6. electricity rates in my area are anywhere from 12.5-13.5 cents per kw/h. So about $400 a month all together average.

Looking good!! Where did you get your buckets from? if they are just regular 5 gallon buckets where do you get the lids? I think i'll rather have individual buckets instead of having my plants share a reservoir

Do you have a hydro shop in your town?? They sell them there and the different bucket lids with net pots..

They are 5 Gallon homer buckets from the home depot with black duct tape around them, $2.48 each bucket and like $1.00 in tape for each. The lids are also from home depot they are in the paint department, they were $0.98 each, no tape for those, they are already black but you have to cut them out to size to fit your netpots. The netpots are from a local hydro store and are 6", they were like $1.10 each. It cost about $5.56 to build each bucket. If you goto a hydro store and buy the already made black buckets with the pre built netlids, it cost about $9.00 a bucket. I was just building so many of them that it was too big of an extra expense to buy the pre-made stuff, Although im sure it is well worth it to buy them pre-made. I think after it was said an done I had a little over $300 into all of the buckets compared if I bought all 54 premade it would have been almost $500. A little bit of DIY work saved me about $200.

Heres some pics of the buckets .

That's what's up.. I already have like 6 of those orange buckets and only using 2 to store water in so all i need now is the lids and some black tape.. Thanks +rep

Im new to hydro, if I could achieve 25-35oz per month(about 1.5-2 oz a plant) I would be excited. Once I can tune it in and get used to the fertilizers I'm using it should be capable of 45-50oz's a month. Im trying to perpetuate everything and harvest 18 plants every month. 5 week veg and I generally try to grow 8-9 week flowering plants. Im sure I'll be sorely disappointed and probably get .5-1 oz a plant which would still keep me and my patients in the green, thats for sure.

ide say you should be able to get alot more than 2oz per plant from that setup! ide be hoping for alot more lol

nice setup only things i wanna know is why the black tape (black does not reflect which means it will absorb heat) much better off using white tape! i always cover my black tubs with white tape!

the other thing is you need to get those lights alot closer! 12" from the tops max!!

what size air pumps are u using per bucket. ive just bought a 50Lpm 1 not sure its going to be enough for my 6x 50or80lt tubs :S might have to buy another 1 hehe

not being negative or anything these are just my thoughts

keep the pics comming!
