That’s a kit? Does it come with drivers and everything ?
That's for 6 Rspec boards, two heatsinks and the drivers.

I've said this before...HLG gouges the hell out of you to buy the kit. They charge another $200 for a $65 driver and some nickel and dime parts.
If you source the connectors, pots and drivers from a place like Mouser you save about $300.

Ok here’s the few places I’ve found where you might get it a Lil cheaper n you still get the goods. Growdaddyled.com, pacific light concepts, cobkits.com. Those three seem to best as far as what is used. And they also have complete kits.

Share the sources you know. I need those too I bet you have some good places to get things in parts. I’m literally doing research on where to get my led’s from. N what kind to use. I like cobs for ease but I would prefer strips. Anyway share the info please.

I agree u get what u pay for especially when it comes to big numbers. But for a single grow that’s trying to build up goin a little cheaper can be helpful.
It's amazing when you look at the 3 year cost per square meter the difference between lights is small, so you can spend it upfront on the light or pay for it in more electricity over time, or some compromise between the two.

I’m gonna get nearly 2lbs off of this plant. I’m not trying to argue about lights. I’m only showing what I have gotten from what I have. And to be honest I think the pics speak for them selves. 3 Mars Tsl 2000’s. And just days away from harvest (:
only thing with Mars, good luck if you need to use your warranty. They don’t have the greatest customer service when it comes to warranty

Yeah I’ve done a lot of reading lately. But that’s why I’m back on here for the best advice I can get. I’m leaning towards the Scorpio version f HLG . But by all means would like opinions from some solid led growers
I just got 3 Scorpion Diablos, waiting on them to get here now. I think it’s the best light on the market for a 5x5 area. If you decide to go that way let me know , I have a coupon code you can use

Oh and for frame work and such.. maybe even build a nice track system there is 8020.net. I believe that’s it. If not I’ll edit

That’s the right place.

Well currently I’m running 4 leds (mixed) in a 3x3 . I just got 2 100w HLG rspecs, 1 1000w ts and a 600 watt Mars . It’s okay but I’m going for the Big Bang lol

QB288 V2 Rspec & Slate 2 Triple (horticulturelightinggroup.com) Enter RIU10 code for discount

hlg-320 Stock and Price by Distributor (findchips.com)

I use a Triple Slate in a 3x5. I went big and bought the HLG-480-C2800 to go with it.
These lights are serious performers, I can only run it at about 1.6A , about 240watts with my 18" of headroom.
At 18" running 1.6A I'm getting 950ppfd.

Two of these running a full 640 watts in most tents would probably be overkill, you could save a few bucks and get 240 drivers or have options for later use and buy bigger drivers and run them dimmed now.

Things to look for are:

1. 5 year warranty, don't accept anything less

2. Waterproof

3. Shipping costs- sometimes they are included, other times no and it can be pricey

4. # of LED diodes and passive heat distribution is better than heat sinks

5. Drivers- there's good and bad and it's a normal area manufacturers try and safe money

6. light spectrum and diode manufacturer

7. Ability to dim

I love my Gavita's, the spread of light is 2nd to none. Check out my grows on T H C Farmer, where I'm getting over 50 oz per LED.

I own a hlg 350r and i love it.

Each will have pros and cons. Hortilux extended UV(like their 315chh bulb which i run). The photo bio MX offers a remote ballast awesome to keep heat out of tent, I run all remote ballast except the HLG.

If Chilled would get UL/ETL listed that is another option if you don't care about that UL/ETL.

I have height issues, I'm a basement so I am no help in a tent. I bought the 350r because of the PPFD report. It allowed me to compare to the 315cmh and it "almost" replaces two 315cmh with proper overlapping.
Good luck
