6 Week veg Master Kush+Blue Mystic 12/12 starts now

very nice journal and grow! i am starting my second grow now with 2 dutch passion master kush plants. reading your post saying yours smell like barf concerns me though. i hope they mellow after a cure to smell like something non-barf-ish. btw- my first grow took a couple of months of using 'the perfect cure' method to make my harvest taste nice and smoke nice. always kicked like a mule but i have some thai weed now that is really tasty which is a problem because i like the taste so i smoke more and get obliterated... thanks for sharing.

Still no clue, Ill post back today after I check for mold and seal in the jars for long term. I feel the nugs are dry enough now to let them sit for a month or so. weight was not a big concern for me so it hasnt been on my to do list to check. Im hoping for a qp in the end though. Lot one of the jars to the little white fuzzies, it sucks. I jarred some big colas and I think that was the problem because It was just the big nug that started getting moldy.

Hey thanks for the comment. The smell the master kush has is a smell I noticed it it started gettings during flower while I had nute problems or deffieceinces. The smell is very strange and still has yet to fully disappear. The nugs this plant produces are dense and great but the smell I got during my grow is really turning me off of the strain. The blue mystic is getting a great smell which is what was expected after readings tons of reviews about the taste and smell its known for. I hope this masterkush gets better. Since jarred its only gotten better but still not the "kush skunk" smell I wanted, I wouldnt ever buy bud that smell this way lets put it that way.

(http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/12399174) one guy said he thought it was the nutes but that can't be since your other girl smells nice. i have read some smoke reports on master kush but none said anything about a puke smell. now my ocd is going to be nagging at me for the next few months while i grow my plants. lol. i guess that is what i get for putting all my eggs in one proverbial basket. i have seeds from other strains but it is too late for me to gt another plant or two going now...

LOL, but some buds just taste funny.

The "wheel of flavors" that someone posted here recently had a section
for biological scents. It only included "mousy" and "horsey".

Neither of those sound much tastier than barf.

Some pot just smells weird.

nice grow! what size tent did you use?I too am interested to see what the dry weight was.

I took a jar of the small puke smelling masterkush nugs out and let them dry on a piece of paper in my basement and what do you know it got a small earthy skunky smell. Puke smell was gone and just smelled like typical weed. It didnt smell great but atleast the puke smell was gone. So this got my hopes up for the bigger nugs slow drying/curing in the jars now. I actually got rid of 2 and a half ounces to friends that really enjoyed it, and this was just the small under 1 g nugs I felt would mold up if jarred and clumped. I still havent put the everything on the scale though. Im thinking I have roughly 4 1/2 - 5 ounces total.

thank you very much, the tent is 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 x 5 feet. I got rid of alot of under 1g nugs from both plants to friends, over 2 1/2 ounces but I still have the jars curing. Weight will be more of an approximation now, I should have kept track

I felt it could have been the nutes at first but I stopped using all nutes half way through flowering so I know by harvest not much could have been left in there, and like you said I did use the same methods on both blue mystic and masterkush. The smell really seems to fade when its left out to dry on paper. So maybe the ones in jar will lose that smell itll just take longer.

Actually I know exactly how much was gotten rid of, 67 grams. I will burp the jarred nugs right now and scale everything to get a total weight

So I had a total weight of 174. something grams. Super stoked for that on my first. Lost 4 grams to mold. Caught it very early and just tossed it. The smell never came back into the jar nor do I see anymore so I think its all good. 170 dried and smokeable grams of homegrown. 96 grams from the blue mystic and 78 from the masterkush. The mold came onto 4 grams of the blue mystic.

My cousin right when he saw the blue mystic and smelled it took 30 grams off my hands and my close friend took another 30 while I set aside myself a q so that made up the 67 g that was already gone. Iv got 107 grams now curing in jars. Been atleast two weeks now in jars. I want to just keep them sealed now and not open at all. I have a bit set aside so Im good for a few weeks to just let these get nice

Now I just want to start my second grow. Got the big buddha blue cheese and barneys farm vanilla kush Definitely strains I would prefer to go without any chemical nutes
