600w yield?

Not per plant, but per harvest. If you have 4 or 8 plants it is still .5 to 1.5g avg dry harvest weight per watt. It is up to you how you use your space and how many plants. It's more of - amount of space + time = grams per watt. Rather than amount of plants + time.

should have done more planning you will have problems i assure big problems
Why? Ever hear of pinching or super cropping? 62 posts and you are already condemning the man's grow.... maybe sit back, read a lot, then post?

On Topic: Hard to guestimate yield now, but I'll go with 12 ounces. I think you'll do OK and learn from this grow and get 16 next time.

Don't set your expectations too high or you will be disappointed in the end. I always shoot low then when it is higher I am stoked. After a couple grows in the same environment you will have a pretty good idea of what you will be looking at harvest wise. Do not count on the grams per watt, instead after your harvest calculate it yourself and try and beat it the next grow. I know that I came nowhere near 1/2 to 1 gram per watt for a while until I got my shit dialed in. Good Luck!

Thank you i will keep that in mind and maybe i will do a s.o.g next time.

Can you pinch or super crop when its in flowering, because i just started flowering like a week ago. should i do it sooner than later if im going to do it.

thanks e5

set up a scrog of some sort and you'll be able to manage your height and get many colas. in a small space this is the best way to yield off of "stretchy" plants. sog would be best for stout indicas. whatever amount of flowers you keep in your top canopy (by continual weaving through the screen) will dramatically impact your yield.

can i still do a scrog to this harvest ?

whynot??

I've been doing this for a while and have never seen anywhere around 1 gr per watt. heard about it alot though. this theory would meen that I should expect 1000 gr of bud. thats more than 2 pounds. I don't think that will ever happen. Is that dry or wet? and is that just bud or all plant material? I call bs on the whole gr per watt theory.

you can run a scrog any time before the buds get really developed. the sooner you do it the bigger the lower buds (becoming canopy buds by reaching the height of the screen) will become. if you wait until you have defined colas, it's probably too late, but if they don't have full flower buds going yet, i'd say go for it.

If you need to run a scrog this late to support colas, sure, go for it. If however you are trying to increase bud sites, it is probably too late. I did a pinch/supercrop and added a scrog to my last grow while it was in week 4 of flower, because of height. I planned poorly. The result was a reduced harvest. I think once you get past week two of 12/12, the only thing I would do is pinch and bend.

To each his own.. but if i grow 4 plants under 600w and veg for 8 weeks, and flower for 8 weeks, for a total 16ish weeks on 4 plants. and i get 150g or 5oz from each plant, then i have achieved 1g per watt..

Another way this could be done is - 6 plants vegged for 6 weeks, and flowered for 8 could achieve 3oz per plant, which would also take you close to your 1g per watt goal. It is all about maximizing your space and time, as well as taking full advantage of your genetics with topping, lst, scrog, etc...

It is possible... although most people avg .5g per watt.

funny ive been doin it for awhile myself and thres too many things to influence the outcome but ... ive done all sorts of setups strains etc. people that veg for 6 to 8 weeks is that from seed ya need ta be more accurate cuz if you veg 6 to 8 weeks with rooted clones in the right condition they would be 4 feet when you would flip the clock 12/12 .. then they would stretch to at least 6 feet not including width how the hell could you fit that in a tent ...........say using 8 plant max but not under one 600 watt for max yeild with those perportions youd need 2 to 3 1000 watters to reach the bottoms and even then 1000 watters would probably only light half way down.....traing is the best way for max yeild if u plan a 6to8 grow iy better be scroged or you would need a room 10/10 for even growth and the enviroment would need to be diald in lots of humidity lots of heat ..................my suggestion lower profile canopys make for beeter yeilds get lights super low co2 fresh air no pests .......u could do very well but 0.5 1 gram a watt takes alot of know how do few big plants or many small plants for me sometimes some plants do better than others grown at the same time so no outcome can be predetermind ........thats ta be honest

1.2gpw has been done....never heard of 1.5... friend of mine did white rhino under a 600W and got 670g yield...thats 1.1-1.2...no journal though.
