Looking forward to seeing where we're at at day 35 tuesday night. They got their new usual feeding last night... foxfarm big bloom + cal-mag. I'm going to stick with big bloom + topdressing with supersoil the rest of bloom for these guys.

So all the girls in my flower room are now female. I've sexed them all. So for the last 2 genius x deep chunks, the tall indica pheno was male (YAY! DIE BASTARD). The sativa pheno was female (yay! this is the one I wanted to be female) -- also the one from that preflower vid. So the latest is this - I have ordered 5 gallon smart pots for delivery that should get here by end of week hopefully. When they arrive I will be transplanting. Will veg for one week and give full nutes going forward from here so they get as big as possible before flower. Final list of plants in veg going to flower is: Sour Kush, Genius x Deep Chunk (2), Romulan, 2 x Apollo 13 #2 (the bigger yielder/earlier finisher), Apollo 13 #1 - 7 plants. 3 will become night time flowerers and 4 will become daytime.

We'll see... if they grow the same but you can water'em faster, I'm sure I'll be swapping out... watering the plants has definitely become the bane of my existence... my wife practically groans every time she asks what i'm doing and I go 'I'm STILL watering the plants' -- of course there's a lot more to it than watering the palnts... checking on them, smoking, watching tv, etc ;)

So yeah those apollos are supposed to be JUST hitting the stage where they start fattening up over the next week to the end and packing on the frost, so it's gonna get really exciting now... and then from that point it's gonna be a non-stop frost fest as one plant after another takes her spot in the sun ;) Hope my TGA nug jars ship soon gonna need'em! I don't see how I'm not gonna be yielding over a couple of ounces each unless they just don't fatten up at all over the next 3-4 weeks... that doesn't seem too likely unless something goes horribly wrong.

Do yourself a favor and take one extra clone and experiment with bottomfeeding. Find a jug slightly bigger than the pot. Put the pot in it and star filling up the outer container. I know it works well in coco. And saves enough time to make it worth experimenting with on an extra plant. At the very least try it with one of your outdoor plants that you think would be fairly similar

I need my old avatar back, pretty sure I came off as an asshole. I think it'll work well for you. I personally wouldn't water any other way except for running hydro. Just my personal preference .

I'll try figuring out when I'll be getting out your way, let you try some rom. Also need to see Owl for louffa seeds. Still got to plant his pumpkin seeds. I keep going out to find my tomatoes stripped of leaves. Need to poison them against grasshoppers

Apollo 13 is Genius (a mystery seed found in a jack herer bud) x P75 (Princess cut cubed 75%). Everyone I've ever heard who's had Genius raves about it (one of subcool's faves...) as the super up motivational inspirational weed. Princess P75 was a predecessor to Cinderella 99. Cindy 99 = Princess cut P99 (99% genetics from the mother cut). Apollo 11 is Genius x Cindy 99 (have grown that previously and it was awwwwesome one of my favorites very clean up high).

What I've noticed about Apollo 13 so far from my early buds is that it is less inspirational than A11 and has a potent body buzz that I didn't really ever find in A11. Not sure if those characteristics will carry through, but pretty sure body buzz is only going to get more potent from here on out :) A13 veg toppings quick dried/smoked from veg gave me a body buzz even.

I'm in super soil and have been supplementing with Pure Blend/Pro, but I've decided to back off those except for nitrogen boosts in flower or use in veg. For flower I'm only going to go water and/or foxfarm big bloom, but i just started using that. FF big bloom is <1 N-P-K in a flowering ratio (guano tea)

I topdressed #2 with super soil at around 3 weeks and I have a feeling that is why #2 has gotten so much bigger. I just topdressed #1 with super soil a few days ago. Going to be topdressing at 3 weeks (post stretch) going forward :)

No pic there raiderman :( Yeah I've been curious about both Hashplant and G13 for a while so seemed like a winner... the plant is really nice looking and has been a pretty easy grow just hoping the potency is there. She looks like she wants to bust out big colas based on branch width we'll see... not much yet.

So here are some pics... no apollo pics today... can only say that they are getting bigger every day. #2 is continuing even noticably since yesterday to develop the more full foxtail bud formations in the buds and growing into the classic apollo13 bud shape (based on the tga pics). I'm still not sure on #1 it is growing just behind i'm not sure if it's another pheno or just stunted yet it's starting to look a bit more like #2 though so may just have gotten stunted compared to #2 around week 3. They both have this going on in the bottom leaves as well... doesn't look like typical yellowing to me. Should be mg deficiency as I'm supplementing with cal-mag.

White Russian Day 17
wr.jpgwr2.jpgwr3.jpg

Medicine Man - Unknown day, looks between day 21 and 28, closer to 21. In the original size photo of the bud you see a lot better how the leaves all have trichome formations starting all the way across even the bigger fan leaves. It barely shows in the resized version. They still need to mature but those are going to be some frosty leaves come harvest. I was lazy and tired and wanted to go to sleep last night rather than water her which I was pretty sure she needed... so of course woke up and the lower half of her leaves were wilted with quite a few of the yellowing fan leaves completely shrivelled dry. She was watered about 10 hours before these pics.
mm1.jpgmm2.jpgmm3.jpg

Romulan - Not in flower yet but will be going in about 2 weeks or less. She got close to full nutes tonight... she is finicky compared to the others and always have a leaf or two with a finger shriveling up.

looking good sensi...........hows your overall growing impressions on the MM strain??finicky??
be safe and happy growing...

No it is not finicky. It loves nitrogen and takes full supersoil like apollo. It is not QUITE as hardy as my apollo #1 (about the same hardiness as apollo #2 which puts it in good company ;) ) -- but it's not really a fair comparison as NOTHING seems to phase apollo #1 in veg. It's thriving in the same soil that caused nute lockout on both #2 cuts. They both got transplanted to better soil (roots) and the #1 in plain old happy frog is outgrowing both.

These babies will be going into flower soon. Their 5 gallon smartpots should get here soon. Not sure how I'm going to have enough room til they go into flower...

Some leaves from the bottom of one of the apollos or dr quinn, can't remember which... they all have pretty much the same... i don't remember normal flower yellowing being quite like this... and surprised in super soil i'm seeing that much.
