Me too Harvest can't come soon enough. Looking forward to having multiple strains on hand to choose from. Can't wait to sprout generation 3, generation 4 is about to go on order in 1 week. It'll be a lot easier to be patient once I have a steady supply of my own stuff

Dos Santos continuing to pack on weight and frost daily. Every day just about I can see them getting bigger. Can't wait to see how big they get in the end. Uno progressing slow but steady and still lagging behind... both got watered and had these pics mid-day.

Yeah I'm wishing I hadn't seeded and burnt my first round. Found to hurt my headstash there. Plus meaning having to wait another round or two before picking out which ones the keeper. I need the room pronto.

How long until your harvest? Think I got a week and half left here.

Yeah but you didn't seed them on purpose right or did you? Yes, full seeding pretty much stops the bud/thc development (at that point the thc and resins have done their job)

It's 3-4 weeks left on the dos santos I think. The other one is supposed to be at the same time but I'm guessing she's going to need an extra week or two but won't know til 3-4 weeks from now Dr. Quinn's got at least 5 weeks. My older OG Kush I don't think is going to make it past 3 more weeks only because I think she'll probably run out of leaves No idea what day she is though she looks to have 4-5 weeks left but she's so small as it is it might be only 3-4.

Today I clipped off all the tiny small popcorn buds on the first foot or so above soil on the two apollos and also took some buds off the OGK to leave mainly the main colas as she is probably root bound and definitely doesn't have a lot of resources to put into minor bud development

My old dealer called me up and said he's got some 'really good pure kush'... temptations, temptations..

Yeah it was intentional, but a mistake I suppose. Theyve still put on some weight though, and that 4 week was seeded and still has a hard kick for me and the other guy that tried it.

I am a proud daddy.. I am imagining them when they're done... they're already pretty big they should really swell up over the next few weeks hopefully. Took a shitload of pics tonight.

Just can't seem to shake cal-mag deficiencies even though i've been supplementing cal-mag for almost 2 weeks. Grrr

Damn, I looked up those jars to see how much they cost, as I am just about finishing my grow and I need somewhere to put the stash, but those are very expensive. I will just go with something like this. They look nice though

Yeah they weren't cheap but they're real good quality. They're going to be for my current smoke stash so i don't have to open my bigger curing jars to pull nugs out all the time. I'm gonna get bigger less expensive jars for the actual harvest cure.

I posted those pics in the plant problems forum and the first thing they said was calcium deficiency lol I'm not sure what it is.. it figures that the f'in OG Kush #2 would start acting up at some point -- it has been really healthy for the most part up to now compared to it's ever-sickly sibling but flowering may not go well for her like her sibling too. Probably doesn't help that I have both her and her sibling in 1.2 gallon pots and she's over 3' tall. The only reason they didn't get put out of the garden before now though due to the sickliness of the strain is that it's og kush. Won't be buying seeds for it again though -- had higher hopes for the ogk #2 but it'd have to be the best stuff in my grow to make me even consider trying it again. I'm sure eventually i could dial her in not to have these problems (#2 at least made it to flower without substantial problems) but just not worth it when i have so many other good genetics to grow that don't have those problems.

Daytime crew getting watered today giving them a strong dose of cal-mag and big bloom.

Any advantage to those jars over Mason type jars?

Have you started Cal/mag treatments anyways?? Maybe underdose just to be safe......let us not forget it may be a natural trait with the strain....

Hey man, I see rust colored spots and white spots. Are they occurring together? Do the white spots turn rusty?
Are you asking about both? Or just one or the other?

It appears to be thrips. I got little black poops on the leaves where the spots are and I think I saw one on the underside of a leaf.

Also, this plant appears to be a mutie as I found a leaf with a preflower growing out the middle of the leaf.

The hydro store I usually go to is closed mondays... only one in austin open is on the far opposite side of town. I may have to call around to some of the organic gardening places tomorrow and see if they have ladybugs. Ladybugs rule. They will eat my thrips and the few lingering fungus gnats.

Pretty sure I saw thrip signs on the genius x deep chunks quite a while back actually but the symptoms never progressed so I figured it might be a fluke and not bugs. Luckily so far have not seen thrips on any of the farthest along budding plants... just this OGK really not even the other sickly one. I've segregated it for now a bit... the others might not have gotten infected because this one has kind of been kept in side lighting anyway due to it's height.

C'mon Sense you really dropped the coin for those jars or were they a gift? Those look like overpriced Subcool ego boosters, I swear if he sold his old buckets over on his forum someone would pay 3 times what their worth in hopes of magical dank growing buckets (no offense to you, I've seen post very wise things and I've been subbed to this journal for a while I just grow more and more annoyed by all the Subcool hype and consumerism). He must make like $50 - $60 profit per 4 jars, what a scam!!!

Mason jars work great, I have them in 16oz and 32oz sizes. 32oz for curing and storage, 16oz for smoking jars. I would not suggest the jars in your link, they are regular mouth and unless you're a 12 year old girl your hand will not fit in the jars, make sure to go large mouth jars (I use large mouth for both sizes).

So... I guess no one should ever buy anything nice when I can get something cheaper?? I got a t-shirt/jar combo pack -- and yes they weren't cheap, but not everything comes made from china at walmart or sold on e-bay for $10. Other than my little hobby, I don't spend much money on myself... I hope sub did get some profit from them too! Dude is putting out badass strains and as far as I can tell he's doing ok but he's NOT getting rich. The guy should be able to support himself with what he does without working a job and I doubt he's going to do that selling jars with as little profit as he can get by on.

Ain't been to Wal-Mart for 3-4 years I firmly believe in shopping local (and by local I don't mean you're local Costco or Sam's Club)

Thanks for not taking it too personal as it was not an attack on you Speaking of killer strains, what is the backbone of many TGA strains, the flagship of the company if you will? Brothers Grimm Space Queen, nice effort Sub, Apollo 13 also Brother Grimm. Sub is a talking head with some knowledge but those TGA guys all split the work from what I can tell.

He does not stabilize which could take time, but the funny thing is from reading this thread most of his strains has a particular pheno that people love, look for it soon there will be AoS and PB's stabilized and sold under another company. He does not really create any new strains (he has a few that are his I'll give you AoS and Plush because of the mother of both) but like many other companies on seed sites just combining the work of others and stamping his name on it, yet he gets pissed someone did this on another forum to him.

Man I paid $60 for a 3day seminar put on by Sub (So yes I've seen him perform) and what I learned and took away from the most was from people I spoke with who were also growers/attendees, seriously if you watch a Weed Nerd episode (god forbid you can over look the horrible music or the fact that he is stuck on himself, seriously my wife and I watched 5 min and he actually flexed his muscles for the webcam, I can't make that up).

i agree with sensei if someone wants to buy something nice for themselves why talk shit on it, its obvious he knew the price it was somethin he wanted, and seeing as he put in sum good work on this grow why shouldnt he reward him self with a cool tshirt stash jar combo pack, forget the shittalker sensei i got my dinfem seeds coffee cup that i bought, and i dont care if it cost me 15 buck plus shippin i wanted that coffee cup and bought it after a good outdoor year of hardwork, i felt that i deserved to get my self alittle somethin kool after a few months of good hard work, nothing wrong with that at all

hell yes let the man market his goods!! sub has done some extremely great work with his strains and he is also a great photographer bringin us sum excellent photos of cannabis, let the man do his buiness he is jus tryin to make a livin like we all are, dont hate on sub cause he is successful, look at how much money greenhouse charges for their gear, and greenhouse has the money to thro around and they still charge up the ass, subcool is a good guy and i respect him for his strains he has bred an for helping a shit load of patients out anytime he can, seems like a pretty kool guy, and to be honest if i was in his postion and my buiness was doing great i would market sum extra goods too, tshirts, stashjars, im sure he marketed these things because alota people were asking for them, subcool and mzjill are parents and have a familey to think of so if they make alittle extra cash off sum TGA stash jars who cares, he is jus bringin in the bread for his familey like we all try to do, let the guy market his goods and if u think u can do it better start ur own buiness quit hatin on subcool
