a brotha needs some schooling "help me out"

So I usually do femisnied seeds in dwc but outta curiosity I wanna try some auto.

What's I've picked up, read, and heards::::

That yield is never a gurantee but usual around 1 oz to I've heard 5 oz but from average prolly 1 or 2 oz a plants.

Best to do 18/6 so they can rest a little bit but need more "sunlight" than anything.

I've read that the potency is just depending the strain which is any strain and skill level in my opinion.

About 65 to 80 days from start to finish.

My questions::::::

What the difference when it comes to nutes. I would assume not as much but at the same time mybe they need more bc of the rapid rate thy grow. But less is always more when it comes to nutes in my opinion.

Which is better in your experience or opinion fem or autos.

Btw if any of this is incoorect or not accurate ppppppppllllllllzzzzzzzzz point me in the righ direction

I wanna start my new autos after my harvest (4 or 5 weeks?) ( la diva, 3 fruits,diesel, biomass, )


Any advice on these strain as well would be great...... thanks ya

Why would you go from regular to auto?I like autos and they have their place but they just are not as good.the nutes are the same in hydrothere are auto fem seeds and regular auto seeds

Quicker return in all honestly and I can't imagine watching a plant grow and fully mature in two months giveor take a week I think that's pretty fascinating compared to my 4 month sour d and cream siscle I have going on right now. Like I said in my op tho a lot of it curiosity. This isn't my first grow or nething and I understand fems and reg have more potential but if I can pull 3 oz of good decent bud while my main plants go through there longer. Cycle I don't see the harm.........so do u have ne experience with autos or juss curious on why I would switch

I've grown autos 1x Afgan Ryder Kush and got a bit over 4oz from 3 plants in 71 days from germination to harvest.

I just finished a beautiful White Widow Auto (Dinafem). Next year outside here in AK but never again under electricity when I can, and always have, been able to flower the friggers when I want. Low yield when I can't veg 2 months minimum.

Next I accepted a little challenge and planted my first 12/12 from Seed gig. My G13 Labs OG13 is unreal. Topped just once as they flower quickly in this mode but the 4 leading colas are each over a foot long and she still needs 4 weeks more easy to really fill the buds out. She's 40" tall. 12/12 from Seed. My WOS White Rhino X Mazar is the next best of the 4 I planted. BEAUTIFUL odor and nice fat buds but she's way shorter than the OG13.

imo that worth it just in 2 1/2 months time. Depending what ur doing with your product but 4 oz of bud to smoke for 2 months sounds worth it to me and I plan on doing 5 or 6 buckets depending if I can get another feminised auto I really want some purple cheese I got a bud of it from a friend and it was wonderful. ( to bullwinkle) what setup did u run to get your return

I have a 600 watt hps I'm gonna put them under as well my mh is currently busy. Do you see any different in potency and. Quality

I used 3 five gal smart pots, with 750 actual watts CFL split between 2700 and 6500K. And I din't give them a rest period lights were on 24/7 and I think that's why I got the yield I did

I am ordering more Dinafem WWA in some promo before Spring. I have 5 more in dirt just coming on strong. It was under a 1000 watt HPS with other plants. It is very tasty smoke and fairly strong.

I got 4 free white widow seed when I ordered from attitude bout a month ago buuuuuuut I don't think there autos.... so might hae to get some auto ww and a pack of. Purple cheese

But glad to hear the quality is still there with teh autos

OK also in my experience they do NOT like nutes in dirt. So 1/4 strength is IT!

You are right, with my dinafem ww's I couldn't go over 1/4 even when using dyna gro. I pushed them a little bit but they didn't care for it.

I'm glad you said that bc I like pushing my plants when possible. I had a berry bomb clone I was using damn near 20 mil for 3 gallon bucket

If you start from rooted clones (as opposed to ceeds) you can finish lots of regular strains in 8 weeks flat, and the fastest of the fast can be done in as little as 6-7 weeks.

Yes, you have to have the ability to take and maintain clones, but it can literally be done under a small simple CFL bulb on a shelf or small box under 24-7 lighting, so it doesn't take much space, money, or difficulty to do it.

Where I'm from it realllllly hard to get clones especially being a state where it frownded apon unfortunately

I've grown hundreds of autos over the years, and I will say that you don't need the light on 24/7. You will gain the same yield as 18/6. Going 12/12 would just be a waste. The potency of autos now is on par with pheno plants, and in a few cases I've had som autos that shit all over some phenos.

Some autos like lots of nutes, others not so much.. And the most I have gotten from a single auto was about 1.25 oz. the plant was 12in tall.
