Thanks everyone for the encouragement! If anyone needs any help, please PM I'd be glad to share what I learned.

So yesterday after looking what Drizzle did....i decided to make a cheapo CO2 source. Instead of paying >200$ for a commercial variety. I hear it works pretty well.

What I did was got a big bag of sugar, dry active yeast and 4x.5 L empty bottles. Drilled little holes in the caps, mixed 2 cups of sugar and 1/2 tsp of yeast in 2 liters of lukewarm water, shook it really well and poured in the 4 bottles. A ton of bubbles have formed this morning. My only question if anybody knows...when I shake the bottles....that supposedly raises the CO2 level and it releases....should I turn off my fan for like 10 minutes to let the plants get it?

Here are some quick pics:

Man I am so impressed with your grow! You seem to be doing everything just right; good coaching, right? (wink wink). One of mine is just going friggin nuts, and right beside it, getting the same nutes, water and light, is another one that's just puny. Oh well... survival of the fittest I guess.

Last pic to help decide which to flower NGT.

I'm thinking of flowering 1234 & AB....C,D & Soil will go under CFL for another week.

Yeah bro. You need to turn off your ventilation for Co2 to help. Sucking it all out of the room won't help. Keep your fans that are just blowing over the plants on but turn your exchange system off for a bit. The only thing I am unsure of is how long you have to do this - 30 minutes? 4 hours ? I am an outdoor grower just getting into indoor so I dunno.

I'm watering using the patented NGT dunking method :) This is a soon-to-be top drip system (soon as of the upcoming Saturday when i get all my parts in the mail). I'm using 1.6 EC of Ionic GROW nutes and the pH I water with is a stable 5.8. This method is super cheap and easy. Also rockwool and top drip are the MOST commercially popular method of growing weed, this is how it's done in Holland.

For the drip system, i'll spice it up a notch and dump my 2 12" air stones into the container to give the water aeration.

So far I've moved 5 plants to flowering. Keeping 3 little ones and the soil under 180W of white CFL and hopefully they'll be ready to move to flowering soon, too.

Can't wait to smoke my first bud!

PS
The temperatures dropped about 5 degrees since I moved them out of my cramped 2'x3' closet and into this custom built grow room which measures 4.5x5x7.5. Also the temperatures outside really cooled down so i just leave a crack in the window and that hold the temperatures at the magical 77-80F. At night they drop to about 69F.:joint::weed:

Wanted to show off my newly built PVC top drip table I've made. I know i could've integrate the drippers into the PVC pipes themselves...but that'd make it a bit troublesome to maintain if there's a clog or something, i like things separate...beside this is first build! :)

Oh and btw, PVC is the shit....wish i knew that before i used wood to build my tent.

Ok haven't updated in a while...been a very busy gardener plus work.

Here are new pics....so basically i have discovered filthy male testicles in my garden which I have decided to promptly castrate and keep them from any attempts to impregnate my harem of girls.

I have had replacements for them waiting under my CFLs and the good news is that 1 of the 3 replacement showed female pre-flowers. So I've put 2 of them in the system now and am watering them at the moment. Enjoy the pics...

Balls alert!!

Full garden before I took out 2 males.

The biggest one in my garden is a girl!!!

Garden again, another angle (been watching SP too much)

My recovering girl, I let her go without water one day last week, the consequences were brutal....she's on her road to recovery now though...

DEATH ROW:

Journal 008.jpg

These have been found guilty of trying to impregnate Redfoxx's harem. They are to be executed this very night with no further delays...

11/7/07 Update
Another male has been discovered and put on death row. But fortunately a beautiful female replaced him which has been vegging in my CFL closet. So I have 2 very good looking girls so far and suspect 2 more.

Will do pimp,

Basically what you see in the pic are 2 6" trays. I have created an irrigation top-drip table which you can see in the top pic. I basically hooked up that 1/2" tubing directly to my 185GPH water pump, i have 2x12" air stones in the reservoir right now and I turn on the system for an hour every morning.

Detailed instructions for setting up my exact drip system can be found here:
Build Your Own Hydroponics System | BGHydro

After that I simply went to my local Home Depot and bought 3 100" L x 1/2"W PVC pipes, bought a pvc cutting tool and all the elbows (be warned, finding the 3 way elbows will be a major pain!! So best you can hope is to put in slip adapters into their .5x.5x.5 threaded adapter).

PVC is really awesome, can't say that enough....simply measured the height of my res, cut 4 pieces of PVC to be about 3" higher than that and made 4 cuts of various length for the top frame, added another bar in between to reinforce the structure and ran my 1/2" black tube zip tied to it.

I've seen people directly make the drip system out of PVC but I'd need some blue prints for that and I thought that if it clogs, it would be a major PITA to fix. Feel free to ask any questions.

Looking great fox! Your drip system looks a lot like mine, I wish I had seen that tutorial on bghydro before constructing mine though. I didn't even use a timer on my pump like they suggested. How frequent and for how long do you run your drip system? I only ran mine for about 3-4min once a day. Now I feel like that probably wasn't enough.\

EDIT: NVM, I just now noticed that you said you run it for an hour every morning. But I also noticed you said you use an airstone in the res. Does this help keep the water from going stale?
