I've veged for 6, 7 and 8 weeks... 7 worked best for me..
I still want to try starting at 20/4 and drop an hour a week for 8 weeks..
Ease them into flower.. Haven't got to it yet
that'll be interesting. let us know if you see any major differences, is that for faster flowering or .....or are you just seeing what happens, mean. The only other way I've had extracts, is when they cook it on ISO, and scrape up the left over residue, we just call it oil here. its dark, and like has a maple syrup look to it, but way darker. it usually always taste the same, like chlorophyll and chemicals. its usually stronger than dry material, but I think rosin is on a way different level.

I just want to see the difference between a slow transition and slamming them into flower..
I've tried that ISO crap, gave me a headache.. I ran some BHO a few years back, didn't like the process..
Rosin is pure melted trichs, great flavor! Good clean dabs!

I built my light 5 years ago... 8 Cree 3590 cobs 50 watts each.. I run at 40 watts.
With 25watts supplemental 660 & 730nm photo and far red diodes..
Soil is Pro-Organic Mix with Dr Earth dry amendments.. EWC and perlite
Most people say you need at least 5gal pots for organics, so far so good in 2 gallons.

mean bro, wish i could build me own lights, im too cabbage to do that though, will burn the house down. ye your right, a lot of people say to not use less than 5gal, if your going strong in them, more power to you. everyone says you need peat or coco in your organic mix, but I forgot to add any of it, so far so good. Noticed a change with supplementary lighting, the ladies praying heaps, especially when the uva was added.

thanks brutha, means a lot getting compliments on this grow. I've been told on a couple of occasions from a member, that my thinking is wrong from the start. weed cant be grown organically because the plant grows too fast, organic soil cant keep up. that's why organic growers always have yellow leafs, and you HAVE to supplement with bottled nutes.

I think a lot of the errors that has come from these totes have been due to it not composting fully before I put the ladies in. the soil was made up, and sat composting for abt 8months before they were planted. Even now i still think it hasn't balanced out. so i think when you go organic, it can be tricky to start off if your soil hasn't got the microbe population to support your hungry ladies. I don't really know, to be honest.

Its a pretty cool buzz to see plants you've grown start to change color(in a good way). never had that before.

I have heard this exact same thing lol.

Some varieties literally grow wild in certain places in the world. With no human input. There hasn't been any input for quite some time. Till humans started breeding and selecting.

Its not like some wendigo or chupacabra is out there in the middle of the night with bottled nutes keeping all the wild cannabis alive!

Keep up the great work. I've seen a few of these types of grows on here. It seems like the more you run the soil the better they get!!!

that's a crack up, had to look up wtf a wendigo or chupacabra was.

They seem to have lil bit of burnt tips dunno how, that's what making me think the soil hasn't composted fully yet and still overloaded with the amendments I put in like over a year ago. I realize that some input's take years.

Having trouble with humidity, cant seem to get environment down past 80rh during lights out. had this the whole grow. getting worried as im in a zone with the ladies that I don't think I've reached before.
Now that there starting to pack on some weight and getting frosty , chances of PM are starting to weigh on my mind.

Cranked up the ac infinity and added a better booster fan for incoming air, I have two oscillating fans, and a bladeless fan blowing up from below the canopy , but rh still hasn't dropped, any suggestions?

lights out rh: 80-90 Temp: 64f - 66f

lights on rh: 60-75 Temp: 80f - 84f

Man, I thought my humidity was bad at 75-85%.. Look into a dehumidifier..
I'd hate to see mold in your grow.. Bud rot really sucks!

have been able to bring the humidity down by roughly 15% since I've adjusted the intake, exhaust and fans. abit noisy now though.

three clones of gelato og and a bag seed from the nephew who has very good smoke.

perlite and fresh worm castings only.
the clones were slow starters, the seedling is abt 1 week from sprout.

ratshit.....ladies got mold. caught it early enough though. they didn't make it to the finish maybe 2 weeks. so far only 1 cola had it and only a portion of it. I ripped it open.

Another schooling by the ladies, never had thicc nugs like this before so more learning curves.

onto the next.......
