About to give up completely

:Update:

Last night by 930pm i got the system down to .6 EC (ran out of ro water at that point) and 5.7 ph. Took free chlorine back to 5 ppm as well

Chopped all dead leaves and trashed them. This morning plants are looking great (other then the 7 turds that have just been stunnted since the beginning). Ph was at 6 ppm 310 and ec .64 and free chlorine at 3 ppm.

Alot of the bigger plants are definetly perked up WAY beyond what they were. Also noted, the wayer levels are about 1.5 inches below pot in some and 2 inches below pot in others (uneven ground)

Lights have also been taken back down a notch untill recoup is complete

Not really a journal persay, i have all info hand writtin on paper at the house and these threads to follow plus pics. Hand writtin has litteray been check ups every 6-8 hours of number lmao.

I am going to compile it all into a journal though foesho

There online ones....I use an app on my phone called grow journal. It's really helpful because I can go back and see what changes were made, and what the result was, but I guess eventually everyone gets to the point where they can just look at the plant and know what's wrong.

I try to input all the stats at the same time everyday, I feel it's a lil more accurate that way. You can keep an eye on how much your plants are eating and the ph drift. Once you establish a pattern you can kind of predict what's gonna happen next. Lol

And take mad notes! Everything you notice. Even just a wrinkle on a leaf. It may help in the future if it ever comes up again.

I have been doing that forsure and taking pics of the same plants with same camera angle to physically look back on

I recalibrated my ph meter again last night to 2 weeks since lasr time before. It was still spot on but for how cheap it is to calibrate, it eill be done every 2 weeks

What kind of meter do you have? Do you leave it in the res?

No i have a hand held HM meter. Same quality as blue labs hand held ones just a tad cheaper. I set a budget in this room to start with and went over by 2g already lmao. So i figured after first harvest ill upgrade a few of the items that make things easier work wise!

That's by no doubt a good pen, but imo, in hydro, I would use a bluelab guardian. You can leave the probes in the res. I feel the ph meter reading is more accurate when it's been in the res a long time, plus you can see how fast the plant is eating by watching the ppms/ec drop. It might not be for you but it's something to keep in mind. Also... forget budgets if you wanna grow. I passed mine up a long long time ago. Lol :bigjoint:

Yea the budget was just a "start up" cost budget. Im DEFINETLY moving onto the blue lab set up right after this grow. It what i was aiming for first but just couldnt fork the extra for it after i was all said and done ($12,000) into this fucker lol gotta get one crop then upgrade what needs to be

If you stick with it, good instruments are worth the money. Pens dont last very long even if you keep them wet when stored. You want a meter that has a probe in the res that can be replaced.

I hear you should store the ph probe in kcl solution overnight once a week.i haven't done that yet but my probes seem fine. I do store them in kcl between runs tho.

Ladies are trying hard. Most are perked up pretty decent! And roots are starting to stand outwards. Not bad improvement in 2 days i dont think
