Most people don't realize that the Columbian of the 90s was so widespread and good.

Not sure if it's the same Colombian from the 90s, but alot ( as in plane loads of it) of Colombian came to the USA in the 1970s.

"Black Tuna gang" member Bob Platshorn did 27 years in prison for those "crimes". Talked to him over a dozen years ago, he looked a lot older than when he went in.

Old Timers Haze about 2wks in flower. I know they will keep stretching but not to shabby so far. Leafs were getting too lime green so I upped the Cal Nit & they look better. The #1 pheno is the thinner leaf pheno & more finicky to grow. #2 seems like an easy grower so far & clones quickly. Probably going to make OTH x Destroyer, regs or fems not sure yet.

I transplanted 7 x Malawi x Kingsbanner into 7l pots today.
They are doing well onsidering they're growing in cold temperatures.
The most important thing is the heatmat that the pots rest on keeps the soil warm.
Now they're in bigger pots there's less room on the heatmat lol
Homemade soil with a bit of rotted seaweed, rotted farmyard manure, compost, perlite and peat.
Soaked with 9l Biosys tea and a teaspoon of molasses.

The 6 x Malawi x Sensi Star original plants have shown sex.
4 males, 2 female. I composted the males.
2 females moved into hut.
Under a Heavy Red, Far Red Spectrum.
White light and UVA above canopy. UVA set for 1.5 hrs halfway through lights on for now.
Reds as side lighting on left and right side with 4x F strips, 4000k across the front.

My Old Timers Haze are looking healthy. The # 1 pheno hasn't really shown any pistils or hairs yet while the #2 has & looks done stretching after a month. The #2 looks on par with my Destroyer so I'm estimating a 14-15 wk flowering time. I'm more than likely going to cull the #1 if it doesn't start to flower after changing lights to 11/13

On another note I've got some Golden Tiger fem seedlings going. Also picked up a pack of Gauwi (Malawi x Tikal) from Multiverse. Initially was a Nigerian pack but they said it was out of stock after I paid. Wasn't to happy about that bait & switch but I think the Gauwi sounds interesting.

Can I ask again what makes a haze a haze? Is there a characteristic smell? I had Liberty Haze and only remember it was peppery and strong. And Malawi Haze had a mild lime smell. Plenty strong though. It's haze side is Neville's Haze.

Did I mention I'm very pleased with Malawi Haze? 20 weeks. One was much bigger and stickier than the other. Strong but feel like I'm still in control if you know what I mean.

I've only had SSH & Amnesia crosses in the past. Usually got the metallic & catpiss smells. Have a few other haze crosses along with the OTH, excited to see what I get out of them. Looking for the incense, woody, "church" smells.

Glade you liked the Malawi Haze, 20 wks is a journey! I'm favoring my long flowering sativas the most defiantly worth the wait.

Surprisingly they have been easy to grow. My Destroyers stretch a lot more & one is almost hitting my light lol! Still not sure what to do with OTH that hasn't started flowering yet. I'm thinking the OTH is more for breeding than to just straight up have for smoke. Hopefully that Destroyer male I have can shorten flowering time. I love growing these sativas though, once you dial in their not as hard to grow as they make it seem.

OTH will be amazing, long flowering but worth it.

You definitely want the OTH for smoking.

I just finished destroyer. 2 plants: 21oz in 5x3 area.

I just dusted a 4 GT branches.

Zacateca Tribute X GT
MalXPan X GT

How does the OTH compared to the Destroyer to you? The longer flowering OTH is starting to flower now, If I like it I'll breed it to a shorter flowering sativa male. All those GT crosses you're making will be dank for sure!

I just got some of the ACE Thai Standard and Moroccan Beldia Kif Standard. I'm going to hold off growing any of the Thai until next fall as It's likely to go too long and into the summertime when I'll have heat issues. Going to get some of the Moroccan and some Lebanese going though. I'm thinking of popping some Congo as well and making some crosses between the three. Also have a pack of Orient Express I haven't touched.

I have some Guatemala flowering now. Plants look like crap so I'm not posting any pictures. I should have had them in the flower tent much sooner than I did but I had a bunch of stuff stored in the tent with no place to put it, got lazy and the plants got pretty rough in the veg tent. But I have identified both males and females so I'll still get my seed run which was the main purpose.

Too much stuff and not enough time or space. I suppose there are worse predicaments to be in.
