I’m speaking of the top 50 super grow list HC has and reported on. Vancouver island apparently has a green team that was active a few weeks ago in regards to injunction gardens
A "Green Team" is a municipal thing. Vancouver Island has many different towns and cities. I have never heard of a 'green team' anywhere on the island and can find no evidence of one on google. Mine is an 'injunction garden' on Vancouver Island and there are 3 more massive (compared to mine) mmar grows on the same road.

Anyone herd of someone getting their grow inspected? I just watched a tube vid, guy stating they are planning a Canada wide inspection before the new rec law happens. Just got my med papers. What's the law state if someone is over?
I've also heard for decades that Players, DeMaurier, Export A and every other tobacco manufacturer has had the packaging for legal cannabis waiting in the wings....... Nothing of the sort was ever mentioned about inspections. Have fun harassing patients, all 100k + of them. Itd be a logistical nightmare. Complete bullshit unless HC releases a statement, carry on. More "the sky is falling " BS.

Bylaw and building super's would have no authority to determine plant counts - they would have no way of knowing what your script is - that is personal medical info. The only scenario would be the cops showing up during an investigation into illegal activity - and they would need a search warrant to enter. I call bullshit, too.
Most people I know (myself included) have their license clearly visible in the door to the room. That way there's no confusion when people see it. Unless you're shutting the room down when they come for yearly inspections they have the right to go through the entire place and can take the time to count plants if they choose. Obviously they have no power of enforcement but why would you make them call the cops when the result is the same? A buddy who lived in subsidised housing had many run-ins with the co-op board around it but good job jumping to conclusions based on false assumptions.

NO ONE is checking plants dude!(:

get over it! lol
:weed:
Wtf are you talking about? A lot of apartments have yearly inspections as part of the lease, totally independent of anything to do with pot or med pot. That is what I'm referencing in the above post in response to Vianarchris.

So unless you're saying that no buildings anywhere in Canada have yearly inspections, you've missed the point and are talking out your ass again.

Firstly I would never rent from any place that demanded an inspection - it's an invasion of privacy. I know it happens...but not to me. Second, your garden is a legal medical grow and the inspectors would be liable for your crop loss if they caused any disturbance. HC states clearly that medical must be grown in clinical settings to be of any value - an inspector would contaminate that clinical environment. If they need to inspect your apartment, they will have to skip the grow room or arrange a time between crops.

Just to see how many are complying with rules, if they see a negative trend they will ratchet it up cause that makes the most money.
And what would the reason be for suddenly wanting to audit a program which is 17 years old? There has to be a reason, you can't wake up and suddenly "make it so" So how would that work logistically? Whos going to pay for it? Not trying to be a dick, just bringing to light the numerous things needed to even bring that to the table, let alone have it pass and be implemented. Do they go door to door and make sure gun owners are complying with the laws of ownership and storage? Firearms have killed far more people than cannabis. Are they going to go door to door and make sure anyone who buys cannabis stores it properly? Endless ways to look at it from a larger scope.

Yes, logic is how normal people function. Its 2018, most people are well informed enough about cannabis to know it isnt a hard drug and there's no hysteria surrounding it despite what reefer madness tried. The people you speak of are such a small fraction of the populace that it's a moot point. We've never had as much access to information as we do right now across all ages. Anyone can refute bullshit claims in a matter of minutes.

Most PPL/DG I've seen are far from being grown in clinical conditions, especially as most have pets that bring in contaminants from outdoors. Pretty much any lease I've ever signed says the landlords have permission to inspect the property if you're giving notice. It seems like you're reaching to justify a statement that was wrong.

Yeah, but not on the island is what I'm saying.

I was replying to bigmanc who said there was a green team 'active on Vancouver Island' recently. I have never heard of a green team in any island city or town and certainly not the ones I frequent.
