Advanced Platinum Series P300 300w

Hi all,

I currently have a space bucket setup, however, I'm looking to expand to tent setup. I'm still in the research phase for lighting and tent.

I've come across the Advanced Platinum Series P300 300w. Have any of you had any luck with this particular LED? or recommend another brand? Currently I plan to have just one plant growing, but would like a light that could possibly handle 2 plants down the road.

Also, does anyone have any suggestion of tent dimension that work best with the Advanced P300 or equivalent light?

The P300 has a 2' x 3' foot print @ 18" above the canopy for flowering. Their XML series are better suited for square foot print grows.
I have the P600 (2' x 5' foot print) and really like mine.

I have two 300 in a 2x4 that I can pull 10 oz harvest from consistantly. I've never been able to hit 1 gpw more like .6 .7 but I'm a newish grower so probably something I'm doing wrong. I will say they do seam to have a bit of a concentrated hotspot that is directly below lights when too close. But backing em away so far doesn't feel right. Good luck. And if I were buying LED now not 4 years ago when I bought mine I wouldn't even consider Platinum. I'd go with cobs!
