hmmmm sounds good but unfortunately im white and according to el tibby all white people need to be murdered and raped and their families tortured..... so i think its more of a vacation spot then permanent

I am assuming that you can not afford San Diego, it does not have a jungle or a sane government.

Belize isn't a bad choice. Great beaches, 2nd largest barrier reef in the world, jungle, mountains, mayan ruins, you can own property and get title insurance. Plus you can live tax free (if you meet criteria) AND English is the national language. However drug laws and non-corrupt government are not their strong suit. Other than that it's pretty freakin cool place to live. Lots of expats there. I have a friend that lives near Placencia.
