using the following criteria, what is the best place you can think of.

1- warm climate, all year
2- beaches, mountains, forests, jungles
3- not too isolated, not too populated
4- semi-sane to sane government
5- friendly populace
6- preferably mj friendly or at least tolerant

Arizona. Beaches are as little as 45 minutes away for lakes, and 4 hours away for ocean. MMJ friendly. Friendly people. Great gun laws, great pot laws, not very many cops to bust your balls. Has mountains, forests, desert, and I guess in some isolated places, jungle.

il have to do some research into it but still does not meet the criteria of #4, the usa is fucked up dude. my views are more towards a mix or venus project, resource based societies, tribal societies. but other then that it sounds amazing!

I'm not positive, but I'd think a nursing career would be good pretty much anywhere in the world.
Should talk to lahada on here, she lives in Barcelona .. my favorite city thus far..
I'll try and find a link for her.. brb..

In that case, Brazil. Most places around Florianopolis, SC, Brazil are amazing. Floripa itself is beautiful. Or Bahia, Brazil, or Natal... even Sao Paulo is amazing.

Rio is probably the most beautiful place in the world, in terms of both diverse scenery and beautiful beaches and beautiful people... but it's really expensive.

But the catch is you need to know Portuguese. Se fala?

We once had a member called buddhaspeaks (?) who spoke very highly of Thailand. Wicked awesome Cambodian pure sativa for $75 a kilo.

If you want to stay in the West, I'd suggest the Big Island of Hawai'i. Maybe not ideal on point 6, but "don't ask and don't tell" still works ....

I feel the same about Thailand .. would love to visit though, but I'd be afraid of getting arrested and spending the rest of my life in jail over something stupid ..
The Thai's have some crazy strict drug laws, and this being a cannabis site I think you get the picture ..

And I have heard that Hawaii , while awe inspiring , is crazy expensive to live considering a lot of.products all have to be imported..

Suggestions are always good, but if you really plan on doing something as big as permanently moving, do a lot i mean a lot of research yourself, then visit the area if you can and talk and talk and talk to as many locals as you can, they will know that place better than any news article or other peoples experience.

Also are you not maybe being picky as i mean you cant have everything you want, and tbh i don't think many people like or completely agree with there government, but thats life dude it sucks sometime and there are much worse and really corrupt governments so i wouldn't say the U.S gov is fucked up, actually far from it, they let there people have what they want to a certain extent , you think in any other place they would have a vote to decide wether to allow weed or many other things lol governments like to control people and the U.S allows a heck of lot of freedom, travel around the world and you'll see actual fucked up places, but seriously dude the U.S is a great country, i mean i've wanted to move there since i was little and still will as soon as i can. I definitely don't agree with a lot of stuff they enforce, and at federal level weed is illegal so basically everyone on this site don't like at least one thing about the U.S government, but you'll probably dislike more about other countries and there laws/rules than you will dislike about U.S.
No country is perfect but IMO the USA is a lot closer than other countries are.
