I'm doing my first hydroponic NFT grow in a tent measuring 1.5m X 1.5m X 2m, I have 9 plants on a meter square GT100 with a 600W MH, I put them into flower 2 weeks ago yesterday, I think I may have waited abit to long to do so,for after following advice on the net, they were 2ft tall, since going into flower they've stretched hugely and taken up bush wise, the whole tent, consequently some of my babies on the edges are bending outwards as if to try and gain more room, though my real worries are the main two in the middle getting so tall they're get burnt as I cannot raise the light no further, I have probably 18inches of space left, I'm hoping someone will tell me that my girls will now just concentrate on bud production and stretch no more, stigmata's are now showing and PH dropping, solution change to bloom tomorrow, am I right to hope, or have I fucked it and should of put into flower a week earlier, any advice apprieciated as I've never seen such rapid growth, only ever soil grown in a house room, too big with not enough light intensity. Thank you.

if they start stretching too much then either super crop or lst them. i find they stop gaining height about week 3 or 4.

supercrop them its the only way,no its not messed up all grows are a learning curve.Plants will utilise certain things out of the nutes this inturn will change the ph ppms,my advice would be dont mess around with the ph after your first ajustment.if there only that size at 2 week then they will reach the tent top.plenty of info on supercropping on here but just squeeze the top hard for about 20 second getting harder and harder with the squeezing, then the top will slowly fold over once there folded over tiewrap the joint or belive me they will straighten back up use string if you have no tie wraps..........tyke

Thank you tyke and dura, your advice is most appreciated, just one more question, I just went to check temp etc and when I was closing the tent I moved one of the lower branch's with new growth at the tip so it wouldn't get caught in the zip and it broke, pretty easily I though, the plants all look healthy, ph has been maintained consistantly at 5.8, solution at 1.3, using canna aqua vegga A+B obviously canna flores A+B, I put water flow continuously with the odd 15 min break whilst light is on and turn water off with the odd 15 min feed throughout the night, I taped the broken joint together, though feeling it, it felt quite brittle/easy to damage, is this right, it is quite thin and long in comparison to the main stem etc, they're about as thick as my thumb, basically I just wanted to know whether my babies are healthy, they look good, leaves are cool to touch, uniformally a nice green, the only problem was my 9'' oscilating fan, it kept burning them,I thought nute burn/def, poxy fan!! Though I'd like to know from your experience whether I'm worrying to much, by the way my babies are blue cheese/big budda seeds/feminised any reviews grateful, I wish I could post pics, though doing via mobile and I'm not to computer literate, any advice on this too would be very much appreciated, blackberry bold 9900 thank you peeps

LOL...He said "stigmata". The only reason I know what that is is because I was an alter boy. One of the unmolested ones.

your plants sound ok although without pics its very difficault to honestly give an opinion. as for the broken branch i wouldnt worry too much, these things happpen, some stalks are more brittle than others. ive broken a few in my time, most survived. sorry dont know shit about blackberrys mate.

Ah,sorry peeps, I did say I was a newbie, pistules is what I meant rather than stigmata, looking up I see it has something to do with the church, sorry again. EMBARASSED! All advice truly appreciated, if anybody out there can give me a step by step or recommend where exactly to look for information on super cropping, I'm doing via mobile phone and searching through this site is rather hard work. Thank you

supercropping is just squeezing the branch until it cracks slightly and falls over. the crack will heal ,leaving a 'knucle', just like breaking a bone and not going to the docs, the branch will then start to head upwards towards the light. this allows lower branches to catch up , so instead of having one large 'cola' dominating the entire plant with lots of side ones lower down(kinda christmas tree shape) u'll have all the canopy at the same height. its just a case of pinching the taller branches between thumb and fingers and gently but firmly squeezing while rubbing a bit, you'll feel the plant matter soften and break. do it with all the taller ones. if you press too hard you could kill the branch but you'll realise just how firmly quite quickly, it aint rocket science.best of luck
