This will be my 3rd grow. My first two grows were done using a flood and drain system with good results. This time I will be growing Northern Lights. Wanted to go with aeroponics to try something a little different. Check out the pics and let me know what you think. If anyone sees anything that could be a potential problem with what I have built let me know. Also check out the home made air scrubber I made too. The water pump is a 185gph.

Don't know just started building and thats the way it came out. I was going for a nice even spray all the way around. I tested it and it works great. No leaks.

I went with 2 tubs because I figured it would be easier to change out the water resivoir without disturbing the root systems. Plus I don't want the roots hanging down in the res water.

you can stop that by using aluminum screen as a netting for root systems, but very nice design- should make it easy to change the water

Its actually good to have them hang in the nute solution it adss a constant fresh solution in case it wants more food.If you bought a simple drain valve maybe 2 its the easiest as you put 1 at the bottom as low as you can go then when you want to drain pop a hose on to a sink and flush its empty. Then close that valve and hook a hose to the second valve which is up as high as possible and fill baack to your mark.Would give you about 12-20 more inches of room above the unit for lights and much easier to deal with
